All we're really changing is the rev limit and the shift buzzer. Buzzer at 6500, fuel cut at 7k.

Yeah, this car is full of surprises.

7000 rpm. Indicated 57 mph in 2nd. With our tall tires, actual 60+ mph.

This course shouldn't put you there. But, I'd rather have people wringing out 2nd than crunching through shifting to 3rd and back to 2nd, anyway.

Since we don't have a tach (and who looks at a tach when they're autocrossing?), the shift buzzer lets you know when you're close. If you can hear it.

Big fan of fewer shifts.... So our practice runs in our own car... Will those be recorded as fun runs and posted?

Yeah, we'll be posting regular results (and handing out regular awards). And we'll declare the FASTiva as eligible for any class for the day. So, whatever class you're in, your 3 FROC runs will count there, too.

FROC scoring is done separately.

FROC prep complete!

Steve and Philip pitched in to help get the car ready. We got the tires rotated, pressures set, shifter fixed, fluids checked and topped up, seatbelt mounting adjusted, suspension inspected, rest of car inspected and test-driven. Good to go!

Not you, none of you, will be disappointed.
I can't believe the FROC hasn't sold out. C'mon, if you're on the fence, jump!

Hey guys good news bad news for me.

Noticed my s2000 is really vibrating under acceleration yesterday. Good news is its common and fixed with $80 axle spacers, bad news is that they won't be here until the 20th. Would anyone be kind enough to let me take some "barely past the pace of a parade lap" for my practice runs with their car? I'd really appreciate it. If not I'll still be there and can't wait to give the fastiva a go!

Mark -- you're welcome to borrow some time in my car...I can always use a few tips, and riding with Philip just teaches me bad habits. :)

I realized after I registered that I was #51.
Is #50 a hard stop for this event?

50 drivers. You are the 48th driver.
We have 3 non-driving guests. The counter on MR.com puts them all together.
And yes, it's a hard limit. 50 drivers. So, 2 spots left!

You guys are the best! Also glad you liked my parade lap comment  I would really have a hard time abusing one of your cars the way I do the s2000 though on a serious note.

My co driver tried to register and it's saying sold out. Is there a wait list?

No. Just keep an eye on the website and snag a cancelation if there is one. Couple hours to go. ..
