FAST First Aid Kit

"FAST Aid", if you will.

We just revamped and restocked our first aid kit, so thought it would be a good idea to tell you what's in it. It's easy to assume "oh, they won't have that" or "the first aid kit is for real emergencies, they don't want me to use it". WRONG! If we don't use that stuff, it expires and we have to pitch it. We've already spent the money. If you need it, use it! And we tried to stock it with, yes, "emergency" stuff... but, also with supplies that we might actually NEED on a regular basis.

The more people who have knowledge of what's in there, the more likely it is to be used as needed. Thus, this message.

Here's what's in the FAST Aid kit:
Gauze pads, large and small
Tape
Wraps
Band-aids
Hello Kitty Band-Aids! (yeah, I went there)
Ice packs
Latex gloves
Eye wash
Alcohol pads
Tweezers
Scissors
Antiseptic spray
Antibacterial ointment
Hydrocortisone cream
Ibuprofen tablets
Acetominofen tablets
Antihistimine tablets

I think that's about it, might have missed something.

The new box has a top compartment. You'll find basic band-aids and ointments in there, accessible without even taking the kit off the wall. The kit is always hanging just inside the back door, btw. On the right. Use it if you need it!

We should consider maybe printing the "inventory" to stick on the side of the box.
