Guess I'll have to sprinkle some Adolf's Tenderizer and poke a fork into my 4 year old Rivals to avoid being dog meat then

The closer the competition the more the fun. :thumbwink: I did actually clean the outside of the RX8 tho' with more than the California duster. It gets to stay in the garage now too. Randy is 5% faster in his S1 S2k than in my S2 car so do the math and place your bets lady and gentlemen. Must be the illegal lugnut? :buck:

When the young Lawson shows up we're all dogmeat. Or the old Lawson for that matter

I've been toying with the idea of a slightly larger fsb for the WRX. Problem is the car understeers a bit as it is. Would be nice to have tighter transitions but not sure I want to add to the understeer tendencies. Seems a good amount of the national competitors have had some success with it in their WRX's. Decisions, decisions... :dunno:

Word on the street is that a larger rsb causes excessive wheel lift so it is not a viable option to cure some understeer.

viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2714 You need to talk to Tim Sti at an event. He'll help in one minute.

You studied this and all the many articles floating around on this site right? What is this "steering" an awd car you speak of? You mean "pulling" and "pushing" right?

When my brother autocrossed his STi, one trick to reduce understeer was spacers on the front wheels for a slightly wider front track. The proper way requires extended studs, and there is a limit to how far you can deviate from the stock offset if you want to stay in stock class for SCCA venues.

Zero toe in the rear or even a little toe-out also helps the car rotate.

she would of made you proud this past weekend. she proved she can beat Porches, go off roading, and be a gas sipping commuter all in the same day :)
No, whoever that was, it wasn't this Eva. I was walking around admiring azaleas in Tallahassee over the weekend.

I've been known to go off-roading on more than one occasion though. Sometimes as the driver, sometimes as the passenger :derp:

So did Soraya go astray? She stayed clean once with her skinny car and beat my dirty Vette. Eva's grass happens Saturday with the new setup. Grass is legal in FL now. Kick Doug's ass.

LOOK :o I cleaned/wiped my car and polished the lens to look awesome in Philip's or Carl's photos. I will even brush my teeth or turn my head to the left to look good. Win or lose it's more important to look good than feel good/win. Sayeth some comic once?

Yeah, sorry. Nobody's really checking the forum during an event. But, if he was 10 minutes late, Matt was still at the gate. If people aren't there (and there were a bunch of people who weren't there), he'll usually stick around 10-15 minutes to see if they show up.
