Dry lap times on their ~30 second course were within .15 seconds. With a pro driver. More of a difference in the wet. But, for dry autocross... it's hard to really say that any of them have a clear advantage. 0.15 seconds is well within the "noise level" of run time variance for ANY driver that I know.

The "Push Harder, Suck Less" philosophy explained:
Push Harder - Drive as close to the limit of your tires as possible.
Suck Less - Drive something resembling a proper racing line.

Tire Rack's latest test
Two of us did a T+T Saturday at Brooksville to break in/test my new Hankooks on the 3100lb RX8. Cheapest -$100 in stock 255/40/17 tire I could find in the top tier.
Sunny hot all morning. Poured rain in last session. Great test against timers. One really fast driver very very close to his Shelby Mustang times (Re71's) and one old bifocal guy who got a lot faster too. Will be interesting to see what he buys after this hands on test. He was really impressed once he learned my car has no torque and could flat foot it thru the slalom:)
Tires only had 100miles on them. Did 10 dry runs. Once scrubbed in and hot one of us was scary fast. Wasn't me. In the constant puddling Rain where the temp and pressures did not rise I found this new opened tread the most confidence building rain tire I've used in 200 wear category. And I've used a lot of them. I was only 1 second slower on the short course (27 second dry) with slaloms and offsets thru puddles than when hot. That was with the nannies all turned off after the first run.
They can be a little noisy if you daily drive on them with certain road surfaces when new.

Tire Rack's latest test
Hmmm, I seem to remember saying this back in April.
i doubt anyone could really tell a difference between any decent tire compared to another on a autocross course. So many variables in a average 60 second run, that its hard to say which tire is or could be better. If the tire were being compared on a road course that would be a different story. The only real comparison is weight, other than that, run what ever tire works the best for you and your set up.
I guess time tends to change some opinions.

For me it was all about $100 and decent past luck with the Hankooks lasting along time.
But. For me it's always about the money
Interestingly the last version of the Nexens was only $500/set + SH and I thought about it a very long time. Then I didn't know how old they were and I was replacing my 4 yr old NOS Rivals that were only good for sharpening knives and mower blades in the end.
