Pinellas Driving School

You may have heard a rumor that Steve and Loren were starting a street driving school. Well, it's true! We've got two state certified driving instructors (me and Steve), we've already bought our first driver's ed car, and we're in the process of getting our school certified by the state right now! If all goes well, we'll be taking students in November. So, if you live in Pinellas, and you're thinking about signing your teen up for some driving lessons... hang on for a little while, and you can be one of our first clients!

The Pinellas Driving School website is up and running, and we'll be scheduling all of our driving lessons online.

We've also set up a Pinellas Driving School Facebook Page that you should, of course, "like". :thumbwink:

We are based in St. Petersburg, and aim to cover all of Pinellas County including Clearwater, Largo, all of the beaches and smaller communities, and all the way up to Tarpon Springs. For friends, we might consider taking a student slightly out of our coverage area. Don't be afraid to ask.

If you've been around FAST for any amount of time, you already know that Steve and I have a passion for driving, and are very capable of teaching it. We're looking forward to sharing our passion for driving PROPERLY with the next generation of drivers!

I think I read that in the Dunnellon News awhile back. Good luck guys. Prices seem reasonable to me. I pay up to $10/minute for my seat time and I have to provide my own car.
You are great instructors!!! Pinellas is a lucky County to have you both.

Pinellas Driving School

Hey! Just so ya know... Pinellas Driving School is still "a thing". We're not getting rich or anything, but for a new business, we're doing quite well.

Summer is over, so from now through about November, we expect things to be a little slower. That means we've got lots of availability! It's a great time to book some lessons for... whoever need them. And that can be ANYBODY!

Obviously, we'll teach your teens to drive. We know y'all know how to drive. But, we also know that not everybody is good at teaching, and that driving is a very complex thing to try to teach somebody! Plus, that parent/teen dynamic can sometimes get in the way a little bit. Or maybe you just don't have time to do it? Whatever the reason... we're here for you. We can teach your kid to drive properly, legally, courteously, and confidently. Even if you've taught them yourself, a lesson or two with us to check them out isn't a bad idea. Are you SURE you taught them everything they need to know and that they haven't inadvertently picked up any of your bad habits? (we all have them) Three driving lessons will cost you about $300. How much is your insurance deductible?

But, we teach more than just teens, and we teach at ANY level. You want to improve your traffic game so that your not so stressed driving in traffic? You want to be more confident with basic car control? Want to stop scrubbing curbs? Get better at parking? Parallel parking? Complex backing? Whatever it is, we can help!

Even if you don't think you have any problems, I guarantee that if you took a driving lesson with me or Steve, we'd identify some significant areas for improvement. A lot of people are doing things wrong without even being aware of it. And some things have changed in the last 20-30 years (even within the last 10). We can give you some tips that can make you a safer driver.

Wanna learn to drive a manual transmission PROPERLY? We can accomodate that.

Wanna get your head right for improved performance driving? Yes, we can even do THAT!

If you've got some money, we've got the time. Check out our website, or give us a call.
