Weekend Groj Time 3/31

Postby Loren » Wed Mar 28, 2018 2:26 pm

I've got a set of front springs to install on the Mirage. Gonna do it Saturday.

Starting at 9am, wrapping up around 3pm. Will figure out something for lunch pending how many people show up.

Anybody wants to come watch, help, heckle... do an oil change, work on your brakes, or whatever... lemme know. Have plenty of driveway space, tools, and a fair amount of experience if you need it.

Post if you're coming, and what projects you have to work on, if any. And if you need my address, PM me. It's in Safety Harbor.

Loren is the real deal. You will never forget what he does to his car. Sawzall might be involved? Lunch will be excellent. His wife allows him to have a full size train set outdoors. Mike is a cool guy also. But he is the "cookie monster" from Sesame St.

It's Easter Eve so my wife is making me color red chicken Greek eggs by the thousands. "Christ is risen" in Greek. Smack your red eggs together. Only one person wins. Ouch. Kind of like jumping into ice water to find a cross. Find balls in your throat.

You don't need a project to enjoy a 1/2 day at Loren's Garage. Show up and get to know some cool guys. Sawzalls are allowed. Also actually fun.

Cathy's ready to bake. She said "what kind of cookies"?

Anybody else gonna come play?

I'm sure that counts your car as modified now :chuckle: .

Too bad it wasn't on Friday or Sunday, could've done my transmission fluid and serpentine belt there.

Figured Sunday being Easter, nobody would show.

Have movie tickets for Sunday now, too late to change!

Guys, you don't need to have anything to work on to come by. As stated in the first post, you can come to help, watch or heckle, I don't care. Come hang out. Come learn something. Come amuse yourself. Come scarf some cookies. Come help us decide what to have for lunch.

So far, it's me, Mike and some nameless person who ought to be at work.
