CHEAP Time Trial and track school @ ERS
Be one of the FIRST people to drive the NEW European Rally School's 2 mile Bradford Circuit... And compete in a Time Trial..
Here is the Deal
Base "solo" price is $180 <CHEAP>
Add $50 if you need instruction
Qualified instructors get $100 off the solo price <REALLY CHEAP>
In addition anyone attending the track school gets $100 off their Southern Sprint entry. so $180 - $100 - $100 ($20)
So if your a qualified instructor you can actually MAKE $20 by attending this school and registering for the Southern Sprint.
Here is the problem we need 20 registrations for this event by July 2nd or we loose the date. The track owner is being demanding due to the short notice.
Students will get Time Trial Focused training and everyone attending will get to compete in the Time Trial at the end of the day. a full track school AND time trial for less then $200 that is a deal!!
Registration should be open soon at (southernsprint.com)

Oh, man- I've been pretty excited about this new track opening up and I'd love to check it out. I talked to a friend who said there weren't really any open track events running there, so this is great.
Just to confirm, an S2000 needs some sort of roll bar to run at this event? Are they going to be picky about it or will any roll bar do the job?

Our insurance requires pretty non-specific "rollover protection" for a convertible. If you trust your head to it, who are we to argue? 8)

There is a Viper club event the weekend before. nothing like learning a new track with a 700 hp monster :-)

I think I will be reg'ing for this shortly..... this will force me to take care of a few stupid things on the car I've been putting off.
I haven't had a chance to look closely at this track layout to try and gauge speeds leading up to the hardest braking zones. I need to make a brake pad selection for the event.
Loren, Jeff, have you guys already lapped this thing?

Depends on which car you are refering to... Can't go wrong with EBC yellows they are cheap, operate in a really wide temp range and don't tear up rotors when cold. I Used the HP+ on the Sentra before.
I'm only slightly heavier and have right around 200hp also (But a Crap load of torque) also being FF the rear brakes don't do much so I Really abuse the fronts.
They Lasted 2 drivers running back to back sessions at CMP for 2 whole days. and didn't fade.
I think we did a Day at Sebring on them too.
while their life was not very long in those conditions they are more then adequate for Cross-training purposes.. if anything I don't like their cold properties as they tend to squeak.
More people have Fluid fade problems then Pad fade problems. I would make sure to bleed the system with some good fluid (I Like RBF600 Motul, (cheap and in stock @ and anyone that drives my car will tell you I take my brakes VERY seriously.)
Mabye Sebring I'd worry about more pad due to the long straights. but not Bradford. their are no long straights where you'll have time to get deep into triple digit speeds.

I concur. Definitely have your brake maintenance done, but don't get too worked up over having the ultimate brake pads for this particular track.
