Ken, PM me your address and details on time and what not. I just looked at the calendar, and there's nothing on it that day. (OMG) No guarantees, as I am sure all the 'honey-dos' I have been deferring may raise an ugly head or two, but there is a slim chance I may be able to get by and lend a hand.

I believe I can make an appearance. I'll need the address, too.

You guys are doing a Miata waterpump, has somebody got the tool to hold the crankshaft pulley? Doesn't have to be the "official" tool, or the fancy FM tool. But, it's a very handy thing to have.

Yes.
A drill and a hacksaw is all you need...
...or if someone wants to meet me near-ish St. Pete tomorrow, I'm happy to share.

Y'all speak up if you're lacking any tools. Torque wrench, crank tool, extra jack stands, etc.

As Steve noted, we can easily make the crank tool with some flat steel. Like 1/8" x 2"... 12-18" long. If nobody has the tool, bring some raw material. I'm sure Ken has the tools needed to fabricate it.

(I've wasted too many hours of my life dealing with stuck crankshaft bolts in the absence of said tool)

BTW, here's everything you should plan on doing anytime you're doing a Miata timing belt or waterpump.
