It was still hotter than we would like, but at least it stayed dry! The course was pretty quick and challenging, very fun to drive. And the Results are up.

Yeah, that's because we don't have indexes for the combined Dunnellon Championship classes. We could make up something, but IMO, with so many classes lumped together, it would be totally inaccurate.

Still wrapping my head around Steve's best. 34 wuuuuutt? :respect:
I think I hit a pothole on that back slalom at least twice. Not a good idea
Otherwise, the course was a blast. I've had plenty of fun at Dunnellon.

I really like the surface at Dunnellon. I nailed the turnaround on my first run, picked up a locust as a co-drive, proceeded to get lost on course, and never got it right again.
Ah well... at least Drew squashed my FTD hopes pretty quickly instead of making me sweat it out.

Good job yesterday everyone, that was enjoyable. This is video my third run, everything after was worse. I should have concentrated on cleaning up the turn around during the remaining runs. Running after lunch was better, surface wise, than the morning; I watched the morning group from course-side for two runs push sand and grass around. Anyway enough typing.

As Loren said, thank you very much to all who came out, helped out, and made the day great fun for me, and hopefully everyone!
Bill and I put 12 more runs on tires that were already beyond the wearbars, and still no cord. Which means high pressure and mucho camber work really well - even wear and ridiculous grip!
And fresh tires next time around...

Loved the course, really wish I could have dipped into the 32s but I think I started pushing in all the wrong places. Hope we can keep doing events here. It feels like each time Loren and Steve make a little bit better use of the changing surfaces.

Nice stuff! Looks like you managed to catch every spin! Ron took one heckuva dirt-bath.
Glad you enjoy. I'm not sure I can take much of the credit, though. We are learning where the holes are...more notes were taken.Carracer wrote:Loren and Steve make a little bit better use of the changing surface
