ATE super blue is great fluid for the money. I tend to run it or Motul, but ATE works just fine.

I have no problem with the ATE I used it when I had a BMW with good success. however Mastro Subaru, and Driven Concepts in Tampa both Stock the RBF600 so It just became my standard go-to.

I had good luck with the Valvoline Synpower also but that was not a peticularly powerful car.

The only time I've seen a brake fluid related incident was when someone Pitted after some very agressive laps and kept their foot planted on the Brake Pedal while stopped in turn boiling the fluid at all 4 corners. when they took off on pit out they had nothing. (suprised they didn't weld the pads to the rotors) but that was 100% user error, or "Brain Fade"

I use the Synpower in the Scoob. It seems to tolerate my aggressive mountain driving rather well.

I figured that; I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good place to go to.

I ended up ordering the fluid and speed bleeders from a Top Brakes.com, and got a set of EBC Yellows from Autoanything.com. I've never dealt with either before, so I hope they both can deliver within 4 weeks.

Now that this has been changed to Sept 7th and Sebring, are you guys running the event under PBOC? If so, everyone here needs to know their rules, including their retarded roadster rules, not sure if any S2000's registered or not, but if it's running under PBOC they better have a SCCA legal rollbar.

Real bummer that it was canceled, I was really looking forward to it. I'm sure once they get the surface problems straightened out we'll be there. 8) . I can't make it to Sebring, I'm leaving on vacation on the 7th. :?

Yes, the Sebring event is being run as a PBOC event. They do require a roll bar in any open-top car.

Unless it's a Porsche or BMW with ineffective factory rollover protection. Or did they finally see how retarded that was?

Any word on when refunds will go through for those who have cancelled? I sent an email a few days ago and haven't gotten confirmation yet.

We're waiting on our refund from the track.

As soon as that comes in, we'll process the refunds. Sorry for the delay.

I didn't sign up for this event so I suppose I'm not privy to the cancellation/changes. Anyway...Jeff or Loren, do you guys have something else in the works? Sebring at a later date? That could potentially be more doable...

Track refund came through today and I just sent the first batch of refund requests to Jeff (thankfully, only a few!). He should have them processed tonight.

Official Notice for those who didn't catch on yet:
This event has been moved to Sebring on September 7th. You can't beat the deal for a day at Sebring. Also note that we've joined forces with PBOC for this event and they're also running a school on Saturday... so, if you are so inclined (and willing to give up the FAST autocross on the 6th), you could do both days. That's right, you could get in your two track days to be qualified to enter the Southern Sprint in one weekend. No excuses. Just do it.

Aaron, we are Holding the Sebring event in conjunction with PBOC on 9-07-08.

In addition Tampa Rally has a Rallycross 8-3-08 while not related to southern sprint, Tampa Rally is run by myself and lots of the same people that make the track events possible.

We would LOVE to see you at southern sprint also.

my intention is to start in 2009 with a full series of track events and time trials. for everybody, with affordable entry fees. and nice small entry limits so we all get lots of track time.
