28.2 is solid Kyle!
Thanks Loren and Steve for putting on great events. Looking forward to a full season starting in September. Steve gave me some good advice at the end of the day Saturday- hope to pick up some speed from that. Also have have a few slight tweaks coming to the GTI for next season.

At the rate of mods you've done in the last 5 months, I expect the GTI to be a full blown racecar by the end of the 2019 seasonVan48 wrote: Mon Jul 29, 2019 12:28 pm 28.2 is solid Kyle!

He was faster than me by 2 seconds, top 5 in a dunnellon event. I could make excuses, but those aren't valid lolCaptainSquirts wrote:Didn't Loren drive your car a good couple months ago? How did you both compare?aw614 wrote:The driver is the problem in my case

I've benchmarked a few cars and take some satisfaction in gradually narrowing the gap. Some is car set-up, some is just the value of seat time.
When Steve and I started co-driving, we were on all season tires and he was beating me by at least three seconds every event...and he was getting whupped by Loren by at least a couple. Dunno how he put up with it but glad he did.

At the rate Gene and his car are progressing, it’ll be giving the Death Kart a run for its money even when it inevitably gets turbo’d.CaptainSquirts wrote:At the rate of mods you've done in the last 5 months, I expect the GTI to be a full blown racecar by the end of the 2019 season.
