My 255’s are rubbing my right rear fuel filler brace- i had to move back to the 245’s with a 5 mm spacer to get no rub. Moving down to 17’s with a lighter wheel 10 lbs each - should reduce unsprung weight by 400 lbs. Going to increase oil flow to limited slip diff opposite wheel so it will kick in quicker. Thats it for mods.

I wonder if you can fit 255/40/17 better than an 18. What wheel did you end up finding? The last time I sort of looked for a wide 17s, there was more 5x114 stuff that required wobble bolts. Anything larger the 8in was harder to find in 5x112, but I was doing this search back in 2015 or so, haven't checked since.

Went studs after I got annoyed at doing the tire rotations on my GTI this past year :rolling:

We had a blast out there. Loved the flowing feeling of the course.

Too bad I couldn't bring out the FR-S. Thankfully the Corolla was great, as usual. I didn't have it in me to best Ed in the Mazda 2; I guess I need more seat time!

Antigravity wheels...I want some! I think it's 40 lbs, which is still not bad!

You can get them at Bealls. I hear they are flying off the shelves.
