So what do you usually use as requirements for most improved? Cant remember if there was an award for that.

Most Improved is a season award if we deem anyone worthy. No particular criteria for it. You just have to improve. A lot. To the point that we notice.

The "Push Harder, Suck Less" philosophy explained:
Push Harder - Drive as close to the limit of your tires as possible.
Suck Less - Drive something resembling a proper racing line.
