Class D - Modified street tire 3 liters and greater
edit: Tech inspection checks: no loose items in car, no floormats, no missing lugnuts, no threads showing on tires, proper numbers displayed on sides of car, battery is tied down tight.
Some inspectors may look harder ie, throttle cable not sticking, leaks, loose body parts, play in wheel bearings, etc. Really depends on who is doing it and how hard they are looking.

Usually the only changes are for safety. We try to keep the intent of the course elements the same, but if something is unsafe then it gets changed.MusicalDeity wrote:

The last time I forgot what happened, I didn't do setup for once (I think I did teardown, and yes, I stayed).

Yes, thank you for helping with cleanup

My brother will be visiting me tomorrow night and we're going to knock out the course design then. So as soon as I have volunteers for safety I'll be ready to give them my maps for approval, I don't forsee needing to make anything other than minor adjustments the day of with this much time to get the course design approved and straightened out.

Kim -- I can do run groups and worker assignments again. I'll be happy to take a look at the course design and pass advice, too.
I recommend against putting in three positions for work credit in teardown...too many "specials", and there's no one left to work the actual heats. Those %*^ green dots I keep hearing about under the police cones better be there....
Car prep will be interesting...I'm flying back in the night before.
( ) 1. Interior and trunk free of loose items

There's actually a tech checklist we're supposed to be using, posted on the list of entrants we give the tech inspectors:Jeremy wrote:edit: Tech inspection checks: no loose items in car, no floormats, no missing lugnuts, no threads showing on tires, proper numbers displayed on sides of car, battery is tied down tight.

No worries, I wasn't offended in the least. Was just pointing out that it will likely get changed, but for the right reasons. I don't think I've seen very many courses were something wasn't modified in the name of safetyMusicalDeity wrote: Yes, thank you for helping with cleanup... I was pretty surprised for that event. I got there late since I wasn't doing setup and was shocked to see the police course still standing and no one out there doing setup. I had to go work on a car so couldn't help

I may be out of town for this event or I'd volunteer for setup. Oct 1-4th is Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta and I'll likely be there instead.

For anyone interested, I've scanned the required SPC registration form.
You can fill it out ahead of time, and bring it on the 4th.

This is a GREAT idea, but the link didn't work for me, it went to Mediafire, but then it wanted to install something and show a couple popups and my computer won't allow it. Is there anyway we could just post a PDF. file directly here instead of having to go to a outside server? If we could, this will save some time at registration.fastgsx wrote:For anyone interested, I've scanned the required SPC registration form.

No problem, but it didn't work for me again, I get a ton of popups when I click on the SPC.PDF link and it wants to install Microsoft Office 2000 for some reason even though I have Office XP. I'm sure it's my computer, we have every kind of firewall and antivirus protection on our Network.fastgsx wrote: Try the new link and see if you get any further. Sorry about that.
Where did you get the link to the SPC form? Maybe I can just link it directly as a PDF on this site?

I took it home and scanned it a while back. I'll look for another alternative, since I'm sure others will have a problem with it.solar 90GT/03Si wrote:No problem, but it didn't work for me again, I get a ton of popups when I click on the SPC.PDF link and it wants to install Microsoft Office 2000 for some reason even though I have Office XP. Call us your backup I guess.
So if I'm correct on this, we need someone to tow the trailer, and if I'm wrong, we at least need someone to tow it back to Howards.
Yea after i picked up the trailer i was advised that it has a small leak potential and with the high potential at the time for bad weather and that I am going on a cruise this weekend I decieded to return it to it's home.
I was going to try to put it in my garage but was like 3 inches too tall to make it im my door.
