OK, let's make it official and fill in "The Flowers" for trailer towing.
The Jag complains about autoX by throwing Gearbox Faults.
I think it is just lazy.

RE: SPC Class Registration form.

It's a great idea, but it probably won't work. There are pre-printed numbers on the form, and in particular the "section" number changes each time. I have no guarantees that the other numbers wouldn't change, either.

Please do not bother downloading the form that is linked above. Even if we manually change the preprinted number(s), I can only hear the powers that be at SPC complain about it, and we do NOT want to agitate them any more than we already do.

Also, they have requested the liability waiver be back-to-back with the registration form, so there's no sense even doing that one alone.

Here's what I can do: I ususally don't get that form from them until only days before the event. Then I madly try to make the copies we'd need in time for the event, which on occasions I have done the night before (which I hate). If I can get them to send me the forms ahead of time, I can get them posted on the forum (the correct forms), and if y'all want to print them out (back to back) and have them already completed, that's fine. Worst that'll happen is I'll have too many extra copies...

Does that sound ok? And if it's ok, who's volunteering to host the forms and link them to the forum? Wait - I bet we can do it on the website. Lemme check on that and I'll get back to y'all.

by the way, on the form has to be either birthday OR SS# - one or the other.

EDIT: The forms will be hosted on the FAST website for downloading, at least once they are available. And when they are, I'll post and let y'all know.

Put me down for course setup.

Also, a suggestion- Before anyone starts moving cones off of or around the course, take a few helpful pictures of the police layout elements that we can keep in the trailer for future use. Would make course resetting go much, much easier and more accurate to please the powers that be.

re: resetting the police course:

Good idea.

Also, I laminated some maps and added some cues and handy tips for how to put it back together...

No problem, but it didn't work for me again, I get a ton of popups when I click on the SPC.PDF link and it wants to install Microsoft Office 2000 for some reason even though I have Office XP. I'm sure it's my computer, we have every kind of firewall and antivirus protection on our Network.

Where did you get the link to the SPC form? Maybe I can just link it directly as a PDF on this site?
I took it home and scanned it a while back. I'll look for another alternative, since I'm sure others will have a problem with it.
Mine fired and printed fine, I use opera as a browser.

I locked my adobe down at version 5.0
and this doc printed page one in landscape and a second page in portrait

Hey Kim, when do you think you'll have a draft of the course? (I sent you and email too.) If time is tight, you always have the option of using an old design from the archives. Mike (bama_rebel2000) used a previous design for the July event which ended up working out nicely. Either way, just let me know the game plan.

Thanks,
-Aaron

Can someone educate them before the event? Thanks.

The course map has been sent out for review... I made it nice and simple this time, so hopefully we won't have to spend a ton of time re-doing and I'll get it posted up here soon. :)

I've updated the list for jobs... I still need someone for the following:

Trailer set-up
Supplies
Set-Up

If anyone can help with those please let me know! Thanks!

What needs to be done for supplies? I can probably help with that.
