Cleaned up the garage today from the mess I made doing the bushings and pulled my new to me SC kit out of the box to check it all out. Can't wait to get this screamy screw installed. ImageImage

That should offer a good increase in entertainment! Power always puts a smile on one's face. What kind of increase do you expect?

I cut big ass holes in my hood. Vents and a home made front gurney flap. New spare set of wheels and tires mounted today. Alignment and corner balance at speed syndicate Monday. ImageImageImageImageImage

200 hp ! That’s like have a additional engine installed :thumbwink: . Nice job on the hood vents, that was probably a tad nerve wrecking cutting those holes. I have a garage about the same size as yours, it’s pretty impressive what can be done in a small space. Being good at playing Tetris definitely helps.

Gotta work with what you've got! Lol I've tried to utilize what space I have the best I can. Hoping soon I'll be able to do the addition we plan and plop an additional 2-car garage in front of the current so we'll end up with a 3 car tandem. Image

Pretty sure I have too many car projects to even post any real long detail or pics on.

2 MR2s in various states of restore
1 Civic race car
1 FRS race car
3 current BRZ rebuilds/part outs
1 Mazdaspeed Miata
1 Integra Type-R track car I need to put a new cage in

Plus work on the truck.

The Camaro ZL1 1LE is the only car I don't have to touch besides fluid changes.

I was going to post some pics of the current projects but my images are too large I guess. I'm probably too lazy to resize them.

This seems easier if anyone cares about BRZ/FRS rebuilds. https://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=133231

Self Isolation in the Garage - Post Your Car Projects

Did another event at the FIRM, and I keep breaking the weirdest parts, most of the time its just stupid things, but I can see having all the creature comforts on a dedicated track car is just not worth it.
In Oct, my intake rubbed through the clutch line, easy fix with a braided line, but the intake design makes it a tight fit between the AC line and clutch lines. And I had a bad oil leak from my VTEC solenoid bolts backing out.

This past weekend, the power steering belt shredded off in the middle of my run. Not a problem as was my last session and I just drove without a belt lol. If it isn't one thing, its another stupid thing breaking.

But the main parts, the motor seems to hold up really well at the track ::knocks on wood:: Track days are fun, but the lower cost of consumables/maintenance and I have just as much fun with autocross even if I've driven 1.5 to 2 hrs for events post COVID. Going a couple of times a year to the track is doable, but monthly? Not for me.

Man, if just a few of you experienced old school FAST folks would just get together... you could get the band back together, man!

I would absolutely love to, but with my new job I just don't have the time to be able to devote to it let alone autox every month. [emoji17]

Going to the FIRM on Saturday tho for the first time since all the updates to the Miata!
