The safety guy never has a sense of humor. 8)

Really, it wasn't just your comment. I've just seen the general trend toward people thinking that just because we have more space available to Brooksville that we can make Really Fast courses there. And since there are always newbs among us, I figured it was a good time to put those rumors to rest.

I'm thinking about getting a header for the Yaris... y'all better look out, it's gonna be wicked fast!

It's a little hot rod, man! There are at least 3 somewhat major names that make headers for it, as many or more knock-offs... not to mention a few "extreme performance" (and extremely expensive) custom jobs.

The hardest thing about owning the Yaris is reminding myself "it's a cheap economy car, don't spend big bucks trying to make it into something it's not!"

That said, just think how quick of an autocross car it would be if I spent that $3k on a supercharger kit (yes, that's available, too) and $600 on a set of race tires.

Sorry...that would be too fast for our insurance. Banned.

It's not the car, it's the driver.

My buddy Jeff Girardello (not sure how to spell his last name) volunteered to do tech with me if you still need a tech person. He normally runs the SCCA events with me. He has the silver '98 Mustang GT.

The Jag complains about autoX by throwing Gearbox Faults.
I think it is just lazy.

I don't think you're that good, that's why I said it's the driver and not the car, as in a header won't help any.

It turns out I am bringing a different guest than I put in registration. Since this is Brooksville, do I need to email Jeremy/Jack to update their entry list?

Jack, are you designing the course?? This should be good :D

As long as registration is still open, you should be able to go log into MAE and change the details of your entry.

Just for future use, if you log in to MAE, and click "view entry list", it'll show you everyone who's signed up, and your entry with have an "edit" link by it. Not obvious, but it works...
