Jamie or Steve:
I just got home after having a root canal. I haven't had any major dental work before so I don't know what to expect tomorrow. Is it too late to get a credit this event? I understand if its a problem. As an incentive you can sign me up to volunteer to do something at the next event.
Thanks in advance.

You should expect to be drugged up tomorrow... I hope your dentist supplied you with the appropriate painkillers.

Damn, they're dropping like flies!
More runs for those of us who show up, I guess.

You really don't want to let the drugs wear off before Monday.buddy bodean wrote:Thanks, I would rather be there. I am just dreading what it will be like when the drugs wear off.
Sorry you're missing the event, Ed. (and Jen and Drew and...)

We can certainly do that, it's just that I always like to take a few minutes and sanity-check everything. Nobody seems to be missing runs, nobody has too many runs, etc. I have no problem doing that at the event while workers are coming in, I usually do a quick once-over before I shut down anyways.Loren wrote:Idunno if Kenny is ready for this, but back in the day (when we did everything on paper), we'd determine the class winners while the course was being picked up and equipment packed away... then presented awards at the end of the day. It was always a good way to get folks to stick around and help clean up.
We always announced the winners best time while handing out their awards (and everyone would ooooh and aaaaah), something that we don't do now... mostly because it wouldn't seem so relevant a month after the fact.
Something to consider.
Steve. Steve posts the results. I just generate them.Loren wrote:What the hell are ya gonna do at home anyway, just grumble until Kenny posts the results?

On the Z ?Jen wrote:I drove my car today and I have a "supercharger like whine" coming from my rear end. Me and my co-driver won't make it....I don't want to make it worse. So, I'm taking her in to the mechanic tomorrow.
Assuming it has a viscous limited slip like my Z, let us know what you find out.
Kind of curious how you totally kill a viscous, same type of LSD I have in the 240 that's 345353 abusive years old
