?which end??
And I thought it was spelled "gnarly".Agent wrote:... they used knarly a lot.
I should find out this week whether or not I'll have a valid drivers license for the event.The most important thing though, is if we have any volunteers for towing the trailer. It can be towed down to the site Friday evening, and then removed Sunday evening... Bueller?
It's a pull behind smoker. If it's safe to drive down I-275 cooking food (like a lot of those guys do), I think the risk to us or the SPC property is non-existent.Native wrote:Fire or not, the event chairs have already made the call on lunch (behind the scenes).

We can sure take Ron up on his offer next time - maybe. I'll find out from SPC about fire the next time I need to email them about something.
I am so stoked about this event...( is it still hip to say "stoked?")
I wish their specs would quote max camera weight. I've got a DVX100a (and a 2nd on the way) that takes awesome footage esp. with my Century Optics wide angle, but it starts to get rather heavy. That wide angle lens alone weighs more than some consumer cameras! :shock:Christina wrote:Someone asked me about our camera mount at the last event.. It's the second one on the list, for $65. It's awesome..
That would be me, thanks for the info!! 8)Christina wrote:Someone asked me about our camera mount at the last event.. It can be found here: http://www.chasecam.com/catalog/12/suction_mounts" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I would too except that I have great faith that it will all work out as it should. My problem is I don't know how it should work out.Native wrote:Bill, what a major pita...I'd be losing my mind if I were in your shoes.
Thanks. If my situation changes you will see it posted on the forum.Again, good luck to you in getting it all straightened out. I'm sure towing the trailer is probably not high up on your list of concerns, but we sure do appreciate your keeping us informed.
