Any chance of just showing up on Saturday?
It looks like only 14 signed up so far (that can't be right).
My back has been screaming at me lately, and I won't know for sure if I should try 2 days in a row until we get closer. I am registered and paid for Sunday.
Pencil Me in For Saturday?

At the last PCA event I had to get Cory to help me lift my very light racing tires. Yeah, my back is that bad.
Good to see Cory will be out at his first FAST event.
He's a very promising young driver, don't let him sign up as a Novice :)

I'm happy to say that the Flowers will be able to tow the trailer both ways. I will be signing up for Saturday but I have something to do on Sunday morning. We will pick up the trailer Sunday afternoon.

No, my visa issue has not yet resolved but I was given a 30 day temporary drivers license while Gainesville decides if I should get a more permanent (12 month) license. Apparently there are two sets of rules: one for Canadians getting a Florida license and one for aliens who don't have a green card but are otherwise here legally (any other work visa). They couldn't decide which category I fit in (both, sort of) so they passed it up the food chain to someone with a higher pay grade.

This is fine by me; it buys time for CIS (formerly INS) to process the paperwork filed by the lawyer.

Bill, thanks for taking on the trailer duty. My offer for divorce and remarrying still exists. In fact, just sign over the S2k and we'll call it a deal. My wife probably would mind another chubby white guy hanging out at the house anyway...

Carl, you are too kind.

However, good news, your offer is no longer needed!

This morning I checked the uscis.gov website and my case still said "pending". This afternoon the VP came to me and asked if I'd heard anything. I checked again and read this:
Application Type: I129, PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On March 11, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129 PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER.
YIPEE!!! :D :D :D

So, what does that mean, Bill?

It means I get to stay longer. I don't know how much longer, but anything is good. It could lead to other, positive things too but I'd rather not say in a public forum; I don't want to jinx it.

That is great news Bill. I am sure that your path to resolution will continue. But, if for some reason anything derails, we may have a solution. Mary's career as a mom is pretty much over since the young 'un is off to college. We could adopt you! Mary would have a new career and diapers wouldn't be in the equation this time around. At least for a couple more years... :P

Seriously, glad it seems to be worked out.

Edit: Never mind..... Mary said no to starting over. I was hoping to get out of back yard dog poop detail.... dang I miss having a kid around for that....

We do walkup onsite reg. at SPC for those who can't (or don't) preregister. We're flexible there. It's first come first served, but if the MAE numbers are any indication, there's gonna be plenty of room.

Hello again from the great white north. I'm glad to hear that there's onsite registration. I'm trying to arrange some holidays that would put my in Bradenton for this weekend and will try and make one or both days.

Saturday is going to be a morning decision for me, just depends on how I feel after Friday night and how much yard work I don't get done this weekend. 8)

Bill, glad to hear that they gave you a "stay" what a mess that must be, and besides Canadians are pretty much Americans anyhow and vice versa. :)

Yeah I thought all you had to do was renounce the wearing of a took and you were naturalized on the spot
