Hey Scott, great job on FTD last week at B-ville!!!!! Not too many times does anyone beat FastDan! Hope that v can pass tech at St Pete next week!!

Thanks! Proof that even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while. The big difference is that Fast Dan's second run was his fastest... it took me six runs to get fast

Just a slow learner I guess.

Just making sure: Even though I signed up for the weekend ($50), I am signed up for Sunday too even though I am not showing up on the roster? I am noticing multiple people, for instance Loren, are signed up for both days and are on both rosters. Or does that just mean that Loren has forgone his $10 in sweet, sweet, savings?

Register for Sunday. If you've paid for both days (a Saturday option), you can use the "$0" option for Sunday.

Ah, yes, now that would make the most logical sense now wouldn't it.

My thinking was that FAST was saving money by people not registering for both days, but now I see it must mean they are saving money from the fees associated with paying for each day individually.

If you wanna run both days, you must sign up for both days. But you only pay once.

Mike, bring either car - it's SPC - how fast could it be? Besides, if Aaron can do it...

and please do not bring alcoholic beverages to the event site.

True. Bring it, Mike! Besides, no one else has a Snot sucker to compare yourself with. Yellow_Colorz_PDT_12 Anyway, Saturday is a no go for me and there is a remote possibility that I'll be there Sunday. Have fun if I don't see you guys.

Hi Guys - Can I get a list of what's needed (quantity and type) for both days?

I'll prolly just shop one time, and either store day 2 supplies in my garage or carry them with me.

Loren-got it on the current number of cars is easiest/ideal. New blood is always welcome though...we may find the club having lower attendance in the future due to economy issues. I would rather see the events fill up and turn folks away than stretching to hit that 60-70 count.

I still suggest doing business cards...I'm more inclined to leave something professional (and quick) than jotting something down for them.

Current Event: Will a course map be posted?

A late comment about a previous thread on handing out 'trophies' after the event or some other time...I recommend the following event Driver's Meeting. I for one do not wait around until the end of the meet unless signed up to do so...ie. typically sign up for course set up first thing or work in some other manner early. And looking around the paddock after the last car has crossed the line...I'm not the only one in that boat as it clears out quick! Heck, I'm lucky to get one Sunday off a month to do this car thing...

Receiving the accolades at the Driver's Meeting guarantees the largest audience (if not the current one of competition) and encourages repeat attendance.

We really don't like to turn folks away. Sucks to get up early and drive (some people have to drive an hour or more) to an autocross and get turned away. Remember, 60-70 is the maximum... it's NOT what our budget it built around. We could get by quite well with an average of 45-50 drivers at each event.

Have a little faith in Steve. He's got his finger on the pulse of the club, he'll take action if and when it is necessary.
