Hi all, I haven't been out in a while (things got wayyy too busy for a bit here)... but Derek and I will be out again and I'm chairing this event. I've already got my map drawn up... so once I get safety volunteers I'll send it along so I can get it posted up here. Hopefully we'll have a smooth, fun event... and maybe *fingers crossed* it won't be totally sweltering or rain :) I can dream at least.

Any questions, comments, or concerns... message me here or MusicalDeity@gmail.com (813) 468-1701 call or text, just make sure you let me know who you are if you leave a message :)

Ok, so here goes the list... lemme know what you think you can do and we'll get this thing rolling :D

Kim, it's not that I don't like you, but I want to NOT do safety for this event. I've done it at most of the events this season so far, need a break. Share the wealth.

I'll do registration again. Having two reg's. at SPC is sometimes helpful, so if anyone wants to join me, feel free!

This will come as a shocker, but I'll do reg with you, Steve.

I'm noticing more and more that I don't know the names of half (okay, most) of the people in our club. Long ago, I used to stay knee deep in timing and was a lot better about that. Would be good for me to get a few more faces and names together. (not saying I'll remember them... but I'll try)

Put me down for timing. I'll be there early to help set it up. Trying to get fully proficient in the timing system, one more person that knows everything will always be handy.

Ok, updated the list...

No worries Loren, I don't take offense :)

Drew, I agree... the more people that know the essentials the better!

Brian, I'll have that course map to you asap... gotta fire up the other computer and email it. We'll get that out of the way early this time. :)

We can always use extra people for course setup...but only two get credit for a work assignment.

And the Flowers will tow the trailer.

Kim, I know from busy! It'll be good to see you again. Willemina and I were discussing your absence not so long ago.

Thanks everyone...

Bill... I hope everything is still going well with the B&B, I'm sure you two do know about busy...

Tim... like Jamie said, I'd LOVE extras for setup... we can always use more for that and teardown. Of course, the faster the course gets setup... the sooner we get started and the more runs we can get... it also allows for walk-throughs. Late courses kinda set us up for a more stressful and less leisurely morning... and that kinda defeats the purpose :)

Is there anyone out there who loaded the trailer last time that may know how much soda and water there was left?

We have a ton of soda - we had a bunch already before last month and mistakenly bought more...so there should be plenty. We started the last event with 8 cases of water - I'm sure there's some left, but maybe someone else can estimate. If not, plan on getting 6 cases - it won't go bad, and if we run out, SPC has a cold water fountain - folks can refill bottles (environmentally, is it worse to not recycle plastic, or use more tap water during a drought??)
