How to deal with class G?

I think Woodbury's Mustang was a GT.

That's really not a bad class structure. I could live with that. The 2nd class is a little light... but we can't rely on that always being the case. F Stock-type cars are usually a little more prevalant than that.

Also in that group would be the NA Solstice/Sky, NA MR2, BMW 5 series and larger, Cad CTS-V, and various other "muscle cars".

I think the mod classes are a discussion for another day.

But, for the same reason SCCA doesn't use the same class structure when moving up to SP/P/M classes, I don't think this would work as a basis for our Mod classes. Perhaps what we have in place is working there?

We could split them like this to solve the dead class 2...

BS and CS are so close, it's a shame to split them up. Same thing with FS/ES/GS/DS. But it's almost impossible to keep them together, without creating monster classes again.

It's accurate. SCCA used to class the Mazdaspeed higher but lowered to to CS with the normal 2nd gen miatas since they proved to be no faster than a 99 Miata due to extra weight.

I believe SCCA classes all NB Miatas together.
