I personally think we need to have a specific job of someone running the cones back to the course that I bring back to staging with me :p

Count me in for course tear-down and I don't see why I cant do my usual schtick I've taken on in the morning of getting station gear ready to dispurse.

Ok, let's review:

Safety - class is in session, lead by The Professor (Aaron, Scott, Loren)

Water, ice, drinks - Mike K. (bama rebel) two days' worth, or as much as he can fit in a Miata... (Mike, the ice will need to be fresh on Sunday - ) Can anyone suggest amounts for Mike to pick up?

Course teardown (and work station setup) - Meaty (We have to reset the police course on Sunday, and could use more help with that...)

Course setup - AScoda, Phoenixracer (thanks, Carl)

So far so good. Dave and I have Sunday's course in the works, and will be getting it the the Course Marshal soon.

We still need someone to do Tech with Matt. We need some chalk - anyone close to Allan's Sporting Goods in Seminole?

No problem, though I have a bit of trouble with the damned colors they used for marking the cones :p

We need to stop using sidewalk chalk...I'll stop by Home Depot or Lowes sometime and see if I can find some lumber chalk.

Preregistration for the 13th is full. We'll take walk-ons for any no-shows, and probably a few more besides...but don't get there too late!

I agree on the sidewalk chalk issue.

and just to clarify (if need be), i meant bags of marble dust chalk, to fill the spreader and line the course.

I missed the boat. What time do I show up to be a walk-on? Do I need to bring anything other than car, helmet, DL and proof of insurance?

As Chris said, be there by 8 to be sure. Definitely bring a car and a driver's license. If you have the helmet -- minimum DOT approved, covers your ears -- great; if not, we have loaners (although I expect they'll be in heavy demand!). We don't need to see insurance -- the event's insured, and anything that happens to the car is yours to sort out.

We'll have a "waiting list" for on-site registration that we will start on-site that morning. First come, first served. 99% sure there will be spots open, but no guarantee how many - so if you wanna be sure, the earlier the better...

I am a complete Novice, but am willing to help and learn where ever I can. This is my first event (following the school) So feel free to stick me with any of the stations and an instructor. I plan to attend as many events as possible this year and want to be prepared to help.
