I'm ready to race, feels like forever since I've been out. Looking forward to this event.

Steve already replied while I was typing this, but what the hell...

Slow down, back up...

To be clear for all who are reading this (I know how people don't read event info), for a split event (FAST Open) at Brooksville, we don't do a group lunch for all drivers because we can't have them all on-site at the same time. We instead do an ample supply of snacks for all drivers.

That will be the case for this event. Only those who are double-registered will get lunch. Now, as Drew said, it'll be good stuff. We like to eat! Probably about half the time we do pizza just because it's quick and easy (Mykonos will deliver to the airport). We often do sandwiches from different places. And we sometimes do something like fried chicken, or an assortment of stuff from the Publix deli. And we always have coolers full of water and soda.

If you do have any dietary restrictions or other concerns, our official policy is pretty much what Steve said and is stated here.

People are usually more worried about seeing the course map than about what we're having for lunch. :) I'm surprised nobody has asked about that yet.

Yeah, that Dan guy puts together a decent lunch! We put him on the "approved and highly recommended lunch guru" list.

C'mon, lunch was one part surprise, one part bacon... The Havana's, per your original suggestion, were going 2 to 1 and next to nobody opted for turkey. 3-2-1 rule for next time the cafe comes up in rotation.

Lets see what S4 is all about...
S4 is where you cord the outside edges of your tires while the middles look like new. :P
That reminds me, I need to flip my tires on the rims and get an alignment.

Which cones are the new ones? They leave less marks.

Luckily my only dietary restrictions are me begin a picky eater.

I'm all for doing a ride-a-long, but as for letting someone else drive my car... It'll take me a bit to be comfortable with that.

I'll be there for the afternoon session...and I have more seat time in Preludes than some of these guys have overall driving. ;)

Well this looks like what I call a technical course.
Technically there's very little chance of me getting around it without wiping out a few cones. :d

Glad I signed up early

I tightened up all my oil leaks, put in a new seat belt and battery tie down. I think i'll pass tech inspection now. :)

Your car is cool, but is that an AMX back there?

oh, and you'll also need to clear all those loose papers out of the door pocket... :thumbwink:
