Ah, forgot about these pics I took at the end of the day. Not as fun as action photos, but I thought it was cool non-the-less. You may have to open your browser window to see all of it! 8)

You need a stronger bottle!!! Somebody ran it over in that last run group!

Just get a new one when you buy a new tire pressure gauge Yellow_Colorz_PDT_03

I set a personal best in the "by Time" results. Yay, me!
Yes and I'd like to thank Howard for being too busy to attend lately

Not sure yet if I can make the June event, it will depend on the progress of our ChumpCar build......
Very nice street tire time Steve......

I am having a great week, so far I have lost...
2 Liquid filled tire gauges. $50 each
1 set of magnetic numbers $50
1 Stainless water bottle $20

Must be getting old.

Watch it. Jeremy might actually put on R-compounds again...then watch those times drop.

Not that it helps you now, but your liquid-filled tire gauge was on one of the guard rail posts after the event. Maybe some honest soul will come forward.

Thanks, that was after it was run over. I threw it away shortly after that.
RIP Longacre tire gauge.

I didn't notice that. I suppose I would have figured that out if I'd read all the thread. Bummer.

I could have easily beaten Charles if I had properly inflated tires.

I had no idea, of course, how I did in class until results were posted. Thanks for posting so quickly. I'm happy with the results! Now, I need 2 more like that.
Remember, appreciation comes in small, unmarked bills. Since you won, your fellow Class G competitors may demand you appreciate them more. 8)
Eric's picture of supplies is what's left...or at least that's all Jim Swayne and I loaded.

By what, about 12/100ths? In my estimation, we're now tied...
Jeremy, you got your bottle, and gauge, both run over at the same event? Damn, grid was a dangerous place this time...that stinks, man.

Thanks. There were quite a few folks within just 1000ths of me...good shows, all! Of course, Drew beat me by the usual 2 or 3 tenths - it oughta be interesting when I move to E2...

Timing/points correction:
I just got PM from John Evans. He fessed up that his fast time of 30.xxx wasn't his, and that Ed C. beat him. The swap of 4th and 5th place will be reflected in the updated points table.
If anyone else notices any corrections that need to be made, that affect points, let me or Brian K. know...

That's right. As much as I'd like to claim that 30-something as my own, I spun on my fourth run. The time was a 44-something. Remember? I was pumped because I had dropped a full eight seconds from my previous spinout run.
Thanks for sorting this out, Steve.

Thanks again to everybody who had a part in putting this together.
We lost a Vivitar DVR 518 mini digital video recorder somewhere between the course and the parking lot. We'd appreciate you letting us know if you found it. We went back to the site shortly after everything was wrapped up and looked to no avail.
Jamie - Sorry about our confusion on the tires - but they sure were fun! Also, in reclassing the 08 STi, you put us in 3L+. @ 2.5 L, shouldn't it be in 3L or less? We're going to put the Hoosiers aside for Sebring or PBIR and run the Star Specs in June.
Also - since SCCA moved 08 Sti's from A stock to B stock for 2010, when will that change take place in FAST?

Most likely August. But we are probably just going to change the classes to read...
Class F = SS,AS,BS
Class G = CS,FS
So don't get excited, you aren't going to get to beat up on Miatas and Mustangs in your rally car.
SCCA classes aren't even mentioned on the FAST Rules page anyway, so the only thing that really needs changed are the labels on myautoevents. No changes needed to the FAST rules. Most cars stay were they are, with a couple exceptions. I think the base Boxter moves down one, and the Cooper S moves up one.
I think we should get rid of those myautoevents class labels all together. It helps people who are familiar with SCCA classing, but confuses people who aren't. Just put the FAST class only.

Don't I know it...I jump back and forth between street and R-compound, but keep going back to the sticky tires.

It's that funny-looking beer keg thing you keep under the hood. Forced induction bumps engine displacement by a factor of 1.5. 2.5 * 1.5 = 3.75.

?? Whether they're called out or not, the production classes
are tied to SCCA Stock classes -- there have got to be some adjustments to the production street tire list.

Can do, but are you going to do another list for the modified street tire classes? Those
are specifically tied to SCCA SP classes on the FAST webpage.
Should probably start a new thread if reclassing becomes a discussion unto itself.
