Loren will be somewhere between Florida and Indiana that day so perhaps learning from him will be a bit difficult.

Oh well - I'll work with Steven then, or whoever else has his confidence.

Thanks Ron.
Anyone want to design the course (and get it approved)?
If so, speak up
Everything you need to know about this task is mentioned in sections of the Event Chair Guide:

If I don't hear from someone in the next 5 days, I will pick one from a previous Brooksville event and use it (possible altered).

The deadline for registration is May 4th. That's 9 days before the event. I realize the list has to be turned in to the facility, but isn't that a bit much?
Just curious - seems so...

It's not too early, or is it late? Brooksville's minimum advance list submission deadline is a solid week, so 9 days gives us a chance to do the downloading, double-check everything, and make sure it's all correct before we send it in.
I can do the safety stuff with Ron, no problem.

Put me down for water + soda Jeff........all of it.......
Someone else will need to pick up the ice, I'd suggest ~6-7 bags in the morning and possibly have our lunch runner grab 2-3 more bags on the way back. Ice doesn't last long @ Brooksville and we have limited cooler space.
Steve, don't worry about bringing one or two cases of water in your tiny tot car

Steve: Okay and thanks.
Charles: Thanks, noted, and don't forget to PM me the lunch info please.

I can help with setup and registration. Steve, I e-mailed you about the additional cones (prices with shipping). If you want me to get them, let me know and I should be able to put them on my trailer and bring them to Brooksville that morning.

Did anyone notice that this event falls on Mothers Day? This might be a problem for me.

Yeah, someone over at tamparacing.com pointed that out. Same thing happened last year. Plenty of people came though.

It is on Mother's Day? Umm, that might turn out to be a problem for trailer towing after all.
I'm all out of bribes for my wife (the tow driver). Anyone got anything to offer?

Whew. I just spoke with my Mom and she is going to be visiting the Grand Canyon over that weekend, so I'm good to go.

A good way to handle Mother's Day autocross events, I've seen this done with much success:
PUSH the fact that it's mothers day. Invite Moms and other women (who might not normally attend) to come out. Make it clear that the inexperienced are welcome and that instructors will be available. If you can round up female instructors (note that you don't have to be a super-fast driver to instruct... you're there as much for moral support as anything else), a lot of women find that less intimidating.
If you do have Moms attend and you're using the PA, be sure to make a big deal out of thanking all the Moms for being there... and thank the rest of the Moms for letting their "kids" come out and play!

Ryan/Rippin Mazda posted in the Trailer Towing thread that he could, but would need to co-drive with someone...
