Supplies for Dec. 4th

Postby snookwheel » Tue Nov 23, 2010 1:23 pm

Hey folks, I was just looking at the work duty assignments and saw I am signed up for supplies... I was wondering how that could be and now realize that it was still listed on the Myautoevents sign-up page from the last event. Unfortunately, we won't be taking the truck and race trailer to this event, so I will not be able to do supplies.

My error in not deleting that from entry from the last event! Sorry. I can do tech if needed. Stuffing a bunch of supplies into a Stalker simply won't work!

I'll cover for your slip up........only seems fair given the beatdown you are going to receive later in the day!

Guess I need to skim back over this thread and see what we need in the way of supplies.

Thanks Charles! By the way, I'll cook up a special lunch for you since you helped out... It'll probably be served in the middle of your run group! One plate enough? Or do you want a couple.. Yellow_Colorz_PDT_04

Thanks!! Hey, Item (5) reads "Do not do anything that is very quick, or sudden." Oh no you don't, I'm on to you.... So that means bring enough lunch for both of you?

We'll see...registration is topped out, and with all counted (including yours), we're over limit. I'm working on it...will get back to everyone soonest.

On another note -- unless I missed it somewhere, we do not have anyone assigned to tow the trailer. We need a volunteer ASAP, or there will be at least 60 disappointed people. We could also use some folks to volunteer for teardown, although if not, we'll get it done anyhow...impressing "volunteers" worked for the Royal Navy, it'll work for us, too. :)

If I can deliver it Friday night, can someone else return it? Only making the 3-hour loop once would be greaaaaaaaaaaaaaat.

If not I'll run in the first group and bail for the day........

Yea, if it were not for the fact that I will be out of town I would be more than happy to do it.

I brought this up on Nov 7th. I was hoping there would be someone else available to do this. Sorry...

I missed that post Ed, but I skimmed the entry list for this event earlier and noticed you weren't registered.

Fri. pm dropoff has not been a problem before. I suspect it wouldn't be again. I'll email them and ask.

So, can anyone plan to tow it home? Give Charles a hand?

If all else fails I can pick it up on the morning of the 8th (Wednesday). If it can be moved off the runway to a safe location (near the RV Park?) I am sure it will be fine.

I'll take care of it. Jamie, can you put me/Class A in the first run group? I'll leave to take my car home and come back for the trailer as the event is wrapping up.

You'll also need to fill my slot for timing, maybe find someone new to work with Jeremy to learn the process.

Ok. Thanks, Charles. Double trailer pay for you.

Still waiting to hear back from the airport to OK the Friday dropoff. I'll post as soon as I hear.
