I'm in, too. Somebody else sign up for safety, though. I've been event chair, co-chair and/or safety for at least the last 3 events. Will help if necessary, just don't want to "wear the hat" this time.

Where are all those guys I trained on safety a couple years ago?

Once I get around to registering I can do Safety. If someone else isn't by then...

I forgot we changed this date...ooof.

Why so early this month? Unfortunately, I will be in the frozen wastelands of New England that weekend, so I will not be able to attend, or more importantly, not be able to tow the trailer for this event.

We usually try to be fairly early in December to avoid being too close to Christmas, but I'm pretty sure we moved it back a week to free up a date for the Corvette club. They do a big national event in December and needed our date for that. Since they asked nicely, and early enough that it wasn't a problem for us (unlike last year where I think they asked after registration was open and we said "no way"), we swapped dates with them.

I'd like to suggest that a detailed plan be made prior to this event so that we know exactly how we will dispose of the 3 to 4 bags of garbage that will be produced.

Leaving them in the trailer for a month is an unacceptable option, imho.

Perhaps make that an official responsibility of whomever volunteers for course tear-down?

I'm glad it is early in December due to the fact that I ended up missing November. I am dying to play with the GoPro cam.

When does the course layout get posted ?

When the course designer designated by the event chairman finishes it, safety approves it, and the event chairman decides it's time.

I'm gonna bet Jamie is designing his own course, and we'll see it in due time.

You guys who don't run with other local clubs have NO idea how spoiled you are... most clubs barely pre-design their courses, much less provide you with a (usually) reasonably accurate map before (or even at) the event!

Due time won't be until after Thanksgiving weekend, since I won't even get a chance to work on it until next week.
