Who's handling the access list this time? Is it still Jamie?

It is on Mother's Day? Umm, that might turn out to be a problem for trailer towing after all.

I'm all out of bribes for my wife (the tow driver). Anyone got anything to offer?

Ryan/Rippin Mazda posted in the Trailer Towing thread that he could, but would need to co-drive with someone...
That is correct. If someone can PM the info on the trailer, such as location and when it needs to be there, that would be great.

Now about that co-drive, anyone have anything in an A-class flavor? lol.

Okay, 5 days have passed. I'll design it.
kickslop wrote:Anyone want to design the course (and get it approved)?

If so, speak up :)

Everything you need to know about this task is mentioned in sections of the Event Chair Guide:

http://www.wedrivefast.com/EventChairmanGuide.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If I don't hear from someone in the next 5 days, I will pick one from a previous Brooksville event and use it (possible altered).

I wanted A so I could earn some drivers championship points, but beggars cant be choosers so C is fine for me. Are you running the miata or the honda? Thanks Jamie.

Hey folks,
I know this isn't the right section on the forum to post this, but I thought you could take a look and tell me what you think. I threw together a quick "add" for a FAST event. I can make something a bit more professional looking if you think this might be something to work on. It might be a way to hype folks in other forums/sites to check out our FAST events.

I'll have the Miata -- the Prelude's retired from competition (for now, at least). Happy to have you drive it...I may learn something.

Stay entered in A. If your competitors object, we'll unbolt something and throw it out for your runs. :) I have a pair of "2"s laying around somewhere, so I can provide numbers as well.

OK it looks like I may be able to make it afterall.. I think I convinced Mom that dinner at 5pm is OK (for some freaking reason she does dinner at 2-3pm on holidays, but 7pm on normal days?!?!)..

I'll try to confirm today, but if I'm good to go, I'll replace Ryan at Tech (if he's pulling the trailer he doesn't need to do tech, but if he wants to help  ) or can do course setup as well. I don't really prefer one over the other, but I may leave after my run group to get over to the parent's place as early as possible..

I'll confirm soon.

Quick question.. the forum says reg closes May 9th, the MAE page says May 4th.. May 4th sounds more accurate (last brooksville event I did was 9 days or so before the event as well) but want to confirm.

After talking to Bill, I'm bringing the trailer for this event. I'll help out with tech/course setup too since I'll be there early and not have a car to get ready for the race.

Whats the status of a track map?

The status of a course is: Printed out Brooksville grid and it's sitting on my floor with a pen on top of it. It has been there for 2 days.

The "Push Harder, Suck Less" philosophy explained:
Push Harder - Drive as close to the limit of your tires as possible.
Suck Less - Drive something resembling a proper racing line.

Course map will be submitted to Steve and Ron by 11PM Sunday :)

2.5 weeks should be plenty of time to resolve any issues.

Jamie: Do we have a way to mass-email current registered people? I would like to (eventually) provide a link to the course map a day before the event. IMO, I think this is something we should consider doing from here on out. Let people print it if they want to on their own. We have enough to worry about and they still get what they want.
