Well congrats to FAST for having more entrants in one day than the State Championship

Something tells me the FAST entrants will do very well there.

There were a lot of FAST representatives at the State Championships yesterday. Sebring was a great venue for the event too. The space was 2-3 Brooksvilles in size, and the concrete was in maybe a little better shape.

I have to say though, that it also made me realize how spoiled I am from FAST. I'm actually watching their website today, since they said the final results would be out at about the 24-hour point. I worked first and ran second, so I went home not knowing how I did. I really like the immediate reinforcement!

Haven't heard any trash talk to get a handle on it.

Well, Ben's car is now mo-betta. So, I should be able to top Joe and the rest of S4 by a second or two. Better order me up a couple servings just in case.

And Ben is now not only learning to "push harder and suck less", but was recently "Vivek Improved". So, he should be right behind me in 2nd place. Hell, he might even be in first.

Perhaps a full platter of crow? What kind of sauce comes with that?

Joe Vance is the crow eater this month. Valvoline or Mobil sauce?

Shelby Mike got him last month for the sake of one cone.

Either Shamu or Alex dude will get him this month with our "stiffys". Sorry to see Gerry is not here to have a piece of you too.

The Loren Ben Laden is out for some Vance too.

If all else fails Rex 8 will come and bite S2 in the buns at some Brooksville event. Sounds like a "plan".

Morning registration/tech starts at 7:00.

My wife tells me I need to be in Key West on the 13th instead of at TBD. Looks like a fast track too.

I just canceled my early entry.

Wife called. Key West trip was cancelled due to the government shutdown.
Snagged Jeremy's spot. I guess I'll see you guys on Sunday early.

Thanks for cancelling Jeremy, hope to see you at the next event. I still owe ya a beer for helping me the last time we were at TBD.

No biggie, Joe and a couple others merely threatened to vote to re-combine S2 and S3 (CS+FS) like a couple years ago so they could beat up on some pony cars. It was tabled for this year.

I merely want them all to know just how that can bite them in the butt trophywise. Have a great time in keys. Never been there yet myself. Might do that next winter?

Well, I may have just lost 3rd and 4th gear today. Having it looked at tomorrow. I'm betting the 3rd and 4th gear clutch packs are shot. So I'll probably be showing up at 6:30am in the ole suburban, setup the course, and head home for some good ole family time. Crossing my fingers I'll still be in the vette, but my gut tells me otherwise.

We've had this discussion recently. A Vette only needs 2nd gear.

True, drove back from TPA to Clearwater in 2nd. I found I can easily hit 85mph, with a tad more room (was a tad bit pissed as this happened all of a sudden). SPC usually gets only 1st, brooksville takes 2nd. We'll see how it goes...and I just got a fixed back seat for it too. Sun of a.... I'm seeing a white flag going up soon.

Just removed the coilovers and installed konis on my stock suspension, get ready S1.
