Yikes ! Hopefully Toyota has got these issues straightened out by now. Didn't you buy your car the first week they came out ?

I'm also assuming that you've have driven the car delicately since day one. ;) Not saying that your driving habits caused the power window issue though...
It was on the first truck to Florida, so yeah a very early car. The 6th gear whine happens in a bunch of them, might as well get it replaced under warranty before I sell it ;)

Is this the Toledo (Toodoodilliedo), hockey playing, Crown Vic racing Dave?

If you are there in the PM you can co-drive my Z51 Vette Vert assuming you can still "slap stick" and "take names".

Keep 'em tied down so they don't blow away.

Chasing cones is more fun than chasing tents. They also tend to damage cars when they hit them.

does anyone have a "reliable" weather forecast? everything I'm looking at is all over the place. it's like they just flipped a coin or something.

I know you were. But, I've had to chase the damned things before, and listen to people complain about cars getting dented or scratched.

You're in Florida. Regardless of the forecast, the weather is going to do what it wants. The official Accu-FAST forecast is mid-80's, partly cloudy with a slight chance of some rain. It's going to be a beautiful day!

I understand completely. I am just as tired of replacing them. I loan them out and then they come back in pieces because nobody ever anchors them. I do and even that is no guarantee. at any rate, the one O was thinking of bringing is more like one of those small beach shelters, just to have a place to get out of the sun or keep our things under if it rains.

This works for central Florida most days from March to November: Warm and humid. Light wind from the west. Partly cloudy with possibility of afternoon showers or thunderstorms, increasing towards 5pm. From December to February, substitute: Cool to moderate temperatures. Light wind, variable. Possibility of morning ground fog.

Truth! Anything more specific than that is purely a guess on someone's part.

Y'all forgot the June-Nov instillation of hurricane panic. "We're keeping an eye on the tropics. It's all quiet for now, but tomorrow there might be a cat 5 out there and we'll all need to hunker down. Go buy batteries now!"

We need to do a "spaghetti model" autocross.
