I know this is a really late subject considering the first event is tomorrow morning, but I was just thinking about it and felt that I needed to ask some questions.
So on my '91 Miata I have Megan Street Series coilovers and Falken ZIEX ZE-912 tires in the 195/60-14 variety. Since this is my first event, I want to get a rough idea of what I should do with the suspension tweaking and tire pressure.
First off, the coilovers are fully adjustable. Spring rates are 560F/448R and the dampers have 32 clicks of adjustment. The tires are rated for a max of 51psi. I'm riding at 12.25" front and 12.50" rear fender to hub center, the dampers set at 10 clicks below full stiff front and rear, and the tires at 42psi front and 40psi rear. Everything else is bone stock. Also, I have yet to do a proper alignment. Right now it's just using the cam bolts "marked" in the original locations.
At any rate, I've been driving over 100 miles a day on this setup for about a month now and the car feels pretty good as far as I can tell (certainly better than stock and even better than my old '02 NB fully stock). It's firm but not super hard and bouncy. I'm guessing it feels pretty balanced, though I'll admit that I really don't know what to look for. It hugs the on-ramps damn good!
Any recommendations on how I should tweak the settings or just leave it as is and go from there?
As always, many thanks in advance!

Leave it as is.
You'll have a better idea what to tweak after you've 'crossed it.

I agree with John. The only thing you should consider changing IMO is your tire pressure, and that is only after a run or two to make sure you're using all the tire.

Sounds good. Thanks guys!
Now these are my DD tires, so I'm hoping not to tear them up too much.
