Complete the fit and finish, and then sell it to me.

Actually ALL 3. Rivet the fenders but do it in a professional manner. No redneck crap can engineering here. I am sure we can workout a FAIR classification for this project and the other "tweens".

Why? Because Race Car!

Actually, I'm pretty much past the whole "modified" thing so there's no turning back at this point. I just wanted to poke Loren one more time.

Should we fire up my "What's a race car?" thread again?
I have a couple more ideas on the issue. :)

I agree with Ed. It's a race car, not a show car. Keep it light. Rivet it, but don't be shitty about it. You put a lot of work into it to just look like a crap can. You can always finish it nice later if you want.

The glass fenders are absolutely horrible, to make then really fit nice I would have to add glass to them in some spots, the fronts are way off where they attach to the cowl.It would definitely be a project in itself to make that all look "right".

A race car only has to look good from 50 feet at 50 mph. Anything more is wasted effort.

Push Harder - Drive as close to the limit of your tires as possible.
Suck Less - Drive something resembling a proper racing line.
