Hi All, New here

Postby slowest » Sun Sep 30, 2012 7:41 pm

Hello, Im very interested in participating asap. All I need is a car. Im looking into a 79- 83 280Z, turbo doesnt matter. I like that theyre competetive out of the box, not to mention easy to maintain and cheap to fix. Ive found plenty available for cheap, and Id just get it race ready and just streetable enough. I just want to have fun.

Is there a link or info somewhere that explains the class breakdown? Whats stock, pro-stock, mod etc anywhere? Im curious as to what this car is considered w/without a turbo, various chassis/suspension adjustables, wider wheels, or what mods put it in what class.. Are there limits to this club?

anyway thank you and Im glad to have have found this (thaks to some people I know who race w you all). Maybe Ill come out 1 day and watch!

Let's see...we've had everything from a box-stock Mazda5 to a modified Lotus 61 Formula Ford, so...no. :)

Come out and drive. Don't worry about the car. It's the least important part of the equation as long as it's safe and has half decent tires.

Precision driving skill is the determining factor. You could slay someone driving a "fast" Porsche GT3, or you could BE slain by someone driving a "slow" Neon. I won't name names, but the latter is likely to occur. :)

Ryan, my offer to drive my car is always an option, doubt you would be happy just standing around watching an event.

Take the 300D around just so you can say you did!

Of course, Brian's car is fun, too.

Awesome ! (insert porn music from WPRN)

Either way, just get registered for the event when registration opens, and do it quick, because we sell out "FAST".

Dan has been having issues with his Honda, hopefully that will be taken care of by then. If so, then you have the option to drive my car if you want, we can make the switch with timing the day of the race (thanks Ron ;) ). Either way it's all good, you will have a great time !
