You know this will be good!! FAST courses will give you the runs. Not lunch courses.

I'm expecting Loren and that Drew guy to determine just how fast the Grey8 is with my latest S2 Mod. OMG.

Let's see if they can make me their "Patsy" twice in 3?

Please tell me you put shocks on the 8. And I know Drew will be out for blood, so I'll have to take this seriously...

I meant to post this a couple days ago, but this week has really gotten away from me. There's just a little over a week left to register for this one, get on it.

WICKED. Love the optional element here. A true option! Not that one way maybe quicker than the other, but it looks more like drivers choice than normal.

I gotta make this one. :notworthy:

So the new deal is:

The Grey8 is sorted out under cover of darkness.

It has never been raced in it's present setup. I will drive it enough over the next couple weeks to shake everything out is all.

It was .069 behind the points leader in SCCA Central Division C Street before being properly "fixed" in it's current form and I really want to beat him.

I decided it would be better if 6 people drove it once rather than 2 people driving it 3 times to make me their "Patsy" yet again.

I will review the list of entrants for 28th and I will ask 6 drivers to evaluate the level of performance now. Keep in mind that I have no knowledge just how good Grey8 is now???? It's a given that Drew and Loren get another shot automatically.

Full power, full suspension, 1/2 brain = A new 10 year old car?

I will have a surprise co driver that day to help me kill these used tires. Everyone else is along for the ride.

A FAST event at Brooksville , 8 runs ?

Then on top of that, endless ice and water and soda, plus lunch ?

I'm there.

For sure "bragging rights" penciled on the title anyhow.

Fresh Taco's do sound good tho'. I'll ponder that one. :headscratch:

This should be mandatory for any of the drivers chosen to evaluate the performance.

The fun part is that I'm not sure which side I want to give the advantage to... or if I want to try to make them "equal" (which they never will be, even if I try). Gotta see what it looks like when it's set up and decide from there.

Registration for this event closes MONDAY. Get registered!

Also, as a little perk for the FAST Classic Faithful, if you register for both the both of the back-to-back Classics (this one and July 12), you can get half off of a FAST T-shirt.

Well I'm in and new wheels ordered (like an hour ago). So looks like I should be sporting some sweet fresh shoes for this event! Time for a good ole shakedown (no pun intended).

Meet my co-driver for the Grey8. The Stig.

You knew this was going to be tough, right?

Drew. If you ever buy a car that is even in the frickin' Blue Book maybe I'll think about running for pink slips???

Quick notice for those who didn't catch this elsewhere:

Because we ended up with a 6-week gap between Championship events (Tampa Bay Downs June 14 & July 26), and we think it's simply inhumane to make someone go that long without an autocross, we are allowing folks with as little as TWO prior autocrosses to register for both of the "back-to-back Classics" on June 28 and July 12. Be sure to let all of your green friends know! We still aren't allowing first-timers, and will be skipping the whole "novice training" bit because they are Classic events.

We've got about 24 drivers registered for June 14 so far, and registration closes Monday at 4pm.
