Trash talk

Postby WAFlowers » Tue Dec 18, 2007 9:52 am

No, not rippin' on your buds. I'm talking trash -- the bags of it we generate at Brooksville and what to do about it.

Up to now I'd put the bags in the trailer for a trip down the runway then dump them in the dumpster near the motorhomes before leaving the airport. I guess they were tired of us filling up their dumpster because it was padlocked this time.

I can't be bringing 3 or more huge bags home to go into my trashcan -- they just wouldn't fit.

I got lucky this time. When I was dropping off the trailer I was able to put the bags in a dump trailer that was at Howard's, but that is a one-time occurance. Something will have to be worked out before the next Brooksville event.

I think that for all future Brooksville events another thing that the chairman will have to organize is what to do with the trash. Maybe get volunteers to each take one bag home?

I think it is just lazy.

Once again, the Flowers go out of their way - thanks, Bill.

We'll look into it and have a plan for our next event at B'ville, in February.
