It's time for sharing. This is a CLASSIC!!!!!!! Yes you still get stickers and big smiles. (I don't think Loren will count these runs against your total?- He's cool.)

I'll bring my RX8 and have 4 sorta rookies (in my mind at least) run it twice for training purposes for my 8 runs.

I have people in mind for the Grey 8 that is now totally perfect after the last brake job!! Way better than when new. You folks can beat me!!

No order of people concerning skill or aptitude. The offer is there:

Andrew Wong
Steven Hewitt
Soraya Diaz
Nate Williams (who can drive without torque I think?)

I'll ride with you all and tell you all my secrets. FWD or RWD doesn't matter. I'll drive your cars too if you want?

Your times will not be published unless of course you kick my butt.

I think I can handle an RX-8, afterall I survived a couple runs in my friend's s2000 with the lighting fast steering and cheap summer rubber :snicker:

very fun, I was holding back since it was my first time driving a mid engined car, though I do think I was dropping it out of the powerband, when I was shifting it a few times, it was a 2nd and 3rd gear course.

An S2k can be a real handful when the cam comes on!!

You will be amazed how easy it is to drive this RX8 fast up to 9k rpm you only shift once, with an autocross alignment and 9"x 17" rims with Hankooks only mod it sticks. I just rotated the tires too. The ABS brakes are just incredible. Made to heel/toe. ABS still works with the handling computers turned off:) The performance electric power steering takes just a little getting used to as it feels heavy at first then you'll like it.

You can focus on your actual driving the whole time and find that fast lap.

Let me get this straight. I've been threading the needle with mig welding gloves and a blind fold, now you're offering to remove both and give me a magnifying glass?

I'm in. Just got to insure I can clear my schedule. Oh and you can have those two runs back in my car

Topic about avoiding getting rear-ended split to here:
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2199

Registration for this event closes Monday and there are only 26 registered so far. 30-36 is ideal to make sure we get all the worker positions covered, so let's try to get a few more people signed up!
