And speaking of instructor runs:
Come on, guys. An instructor run is just that - it's a run during which an instructor may drive a student's car with the student present, for the purpose of instructing. The "instructor runs" that were happening today, a lot, weren't that. Shoot - one "instructor run" had only the driver in the car.
Classics are all about driving other's cars, and trading off runs, but each run counts - you put your number on whatever car you are driving. If we're doing 7 runs that day, you get your 7 runs. Not 7 plus however many instructor runs you can get otherwise. And if you've done your 7 runs, you are done. Like all the other drivers. It's just not fair, and can you imagine how the event would run if each driver took time to do an extra run?
Now, I know I had opportunity to say something like the above at the event today, and I didn't. But I am now. Swap cars all you want, but within the day's run allotment. And if the run groups work out such that you can't get into the car you wanted to try, there's always next time.
Thank you for your support.
