You're missing the point, Brian... no chairman, no event.

Don't need tech before we have a chairman.

I didn't know how far in advance a chairman was needed. Somebody volunteer for the job! I love Brooksville events; I have too much school going on then to do much else besides volunteer for a regular job (week before finals eeek!)

That's WHEN somebody chairs, which will hopefully be sooner rather than later. Filling all the volunteer positions and designing and having the course reviewed can take a few weeks. Reviewing the event chair guide can take as much time as someone wants. And registration is open - folks probably feel better signing up for an event that has a leader!

Finals sounds like fun...think about chairing after that, maybe.

For those of you without finals - well????

I could chair if I get a good co-chair who can help with the course design. I have what I think is a great idea for a Brooksville course but no time to refine it into a workable course.

And, I either need to find someone to tow the trailer or to transport (and co-drive?) my car; Willemina will be in Chatanooga for a women's retreat.

Retreat, but never surrender!

I will throw my hat in if I can use a previous course layout, with my job status the way it is, I might not have time to make a course because I may need to find a new job :? . I chaired a event with Steve at Brooksville a year or so ago, and my course was well recieved except for the finish was to fast. Maybe I could reuse that course with some tweeks to the finish?

EDIT: Bill I can be your co-chair if you want, that would probably be a better position for me anyhow.

If that trash job is still available, I'll take that. Like always, if I get there early enough, I'll give a hand to course set up as well. Those should cover my part!

Thanks Loren!! I'm all for you designing a course, lets see what Bill says, I believe he wanted help with course design as well . Will you also be doing Safety as well then? Not sure which one of us is going to be the top dog Chair, but either way, I'm sure we'll get it taken care of. 8)

I'll post up a worker list in a bit.

Yeah, sure. Hopefully, Dave will jump in as Safety-Trainee, he seems to have a good eye for it.

Bill, send me your idea and I'll use that as a basis. Unless it really sucks... then I won't. Do it quickly, though. I have some full weekends before this event, need to get started on it.

Easiest if I was to get together with you for 10 minutes and sketch it out. If I'm right about it this will be a love-hate course.

My favorite kind! Let me know when you want to connect, maybe you can swing by here on your way home from work?

I'll be working on the Lemons racer Wednesday or Thursday evening, should be home otherwise.
