I notice people are already registering for this event. I registered this morning.

I also noticed a WRX registered in an "Under 3L Class". I guess he didn't notice the 1.5X displacement multiplier for turbos.

Someone should "fix" his entry.

Not sure if it would help to add the breif version of the classing to the reg form on myautoevents. Quite a few people keep putting themselves in there 06' NASA class letter.

Why don't we evaluate the classing of the registrants after we close it? I have not checked the myautoevents site to see if we have the classing rules linked or not, but I think that would be helpful.

I assume then, since you are registered Bill, that you will be able to bring the trailer? :)

No, why would you assume that? I'm gonna bring my S2000!

I'll let my wonderfully supportive wife bring the trailer.

Do we have an experienced safety person to do safety? I expect to have the rough draft of my course map done soon.

If we have an estimate of the drinks needed, I will pick them up.

For 2/17, I brought 24 soda (I was told there was a good amount, but it needed a little goose) + 88 .5L waters + 8 bags of ice. Fill in the blanks below :)

_____ various soda

_____ water

_10__ bags ice

I'll pick up safety again. I'll draft up run groups and work assignments as well, if you like -- easy enough working off the entry database.

Does anyone know where on the course map the pile of concrete is?

No, but it and the green box should be placed on the map, IMHO.

Dammit! I just found out that I have to be out of town for work that weekend. :(

So. . . . Who wants to pick up my slack?

I'll be there with the timer, and will stay to help pack everything back up.

That's one of my concerns, if I commit to help out at an event I might have to cancel a day or two before the event, I'm practically on call 24/7. Work sucks! :(

Right now, my weekend is open, how can I help? I can do tech or help setup the course in the morning.

The event is on a Sunday? Unfortunately I can't make it if it's on Sunday.

Ok, we need someone to pick up the chair position for this event, as Muddy can't do it.

In another thread, I offered to co-chair with anyone who's never done it before.

Any takers? I'll walk you through it - piece of cake!

I will also help however I can, but I cannot be at the event on Sunday. I even have a course design that is ready to be scrutinized. :)

I still don't think I can make it, but I'm going to try, because there's only a few events where the weather will be really nice before it turns into a sauna. I tend to like to have my Sunday's close to home and uneventful with a couple cold ones on the back porch.

Native, I PM'ed you with a question about the generator.
