Not that I necessarily wanted to. In my last job, when I had more time and littitude on the internet, I would surf this forum to keep abreast of events and general conversation. Now I rarely post on my own forum anymore although I check a few times a day.
Several of you are members on my board and, after the fact (usually 2-3 weeks), I find out there is an event that I missed again. Sure I could take a level of interest to check myself but at any rate...
My point is, for next year, why not have a rep from here who frequests another board maybe post a note for an upcoming FAST event there? It would get my attention and maybe even others. Shit my helmet bag is all dusty!
Thanks!
I've been missing a few events...

Re: I've been missing a few events...
We have a better system, although it sill relies on your memory. Preregistration on myautoevents.com opens at 10pm one month before the event...thus preregistration for the 12 Sept event next month opens at 10pm on 12 August. Stick a copy of the schedule to the refrigerator, and you'll know exactly when to fire up the computer. Preregistration is normally open for about 3 weeks, so there's plenty of time
And you should have received an e-mail reminding you that we're taking entries for next season's reserved numbers list.

And, for those of you that need even more hand-holding ( Yellow_Colorz_PDT_06 ), we've figured out how to send a group email to everyone on the forum. So, the plan is to send out a reminder email to every forum member about upcoming events. Spam alert!
Edit:
I'm sure we can get someone to post an announcement on the tampabaymiatas forum. There's several of us who could.

The "Push Harder, Suck Less" philosophy explained:
Push Harder - Drive as close to the limit of your tires as possible.
Suck Less - Drive something resembling a proper racing line.
