FAST stickers?

Postby rippin mazda » Mon Feb 26, 2007 9:50 pm

I just talked to a friend about getting some vinyl cut. He can do the FAST logo with the cone (as seen at the top of the website) in all black for about $1 each for a 3"x5" sticker. Or for $2 each he can do the same but with the orange for the cone, same size. I'm going to get 2 black and orange and make some magnets.

I was thinking maybe this could be a fund raiser for the club, sell them for $2 and $4 and make 100% profit on them :D . Or maybe give them out as trophies?

Like I said, I'm going to get 2 for myself so if we can get a consensus we may be able to get a group discount.

My 2 cents, for what little it's worth:

Window sticker
---- "Die cut" decal or whatever you call it. Remove backing to expose adhesive, apply to window, remove front protective layer
---- 3" long
---- White or light grey letters (or even "burnt orange") so it shows on tinted window

I'll never have a square bumper sticker anywhere on my car.

Oh, yeah! I'd be up for that. :D

let's see one, and if we like it, the club can order 100 or so, and maybe he can come up with a better price for the quantity? I don't think we'll get a lot of folks paying $4. for a sticker...

we also need award decals - haven't had time to look into it yet, beyond imagining the design in my head :? so, potentially, there's more business

I think a lot of folks wouldn't balk at paying $4-$6.00 for a sticker, especially if it was die-cut, those could go for $6-$9.50. Most folks that would buy a sticker and put it on their car are willing to pay a little more for a nice sticker than less for a cheap one. I've gotten some stickers I've wanted to put on my car, but I can't find good ones that I feel are worth using.
Just my 2 cents for whatever it's worth.

I'm getting ready to order FAST stickers from the same place we got our award decals from last year. Nice quality, good price.

Looking at the FAST logo (with the should-be-trademarked flying cone) in something close to a 3" x 7". They'll be quite suitable for mounting pemanently on whatever surface, or on magnetic material.

FWIW, I"ve also been putting together a prototype award decal, too, which will be amended by the art committee and hopefully we'll be able to start distributing those (along with tracking season points, if I ever get around to tallying them up... )

My 2 cents again: I'd prefer a 2x5-ish size. I'm sure I'd still buy a 3x7 for my toolbox or something though.

FASTers, we have sticker!

Award decals for the year will be given out at the December event, retroactive to the beginning of the year.

FAST logo decals are also in, and will be available for sale at events:
2.5 x 7 inches - they look, oddly enough, exactly like the logo on the website, with 'wedrivefast.com' underneath! Way cool.

$3. each, or 2 for $5. Buy a bunch and support FAST!

I had a bunch of 1" X 3" FAST stickers (color ones) with the wedrivefast.com underneath (just like the website). They will be selling for 50 cents a piece, this just covers my cost. They are professionally printed and look really nice. I've purchase stickers from this company before and they are good for about 3 years in full sun before they start fading. I can have other sizes made. I will see how the response is on these before I get too carried away.

^^^ To make it so as to not actually lose money, the selling price was actually a dollar, which is still a deal! And, while Matsuwesty didn't make it terribly clear, all the proceeds from the sales of the smaller version of the FAST decal do go to support FAST!

Thanks very much, Matt, and ya'll support the cause and buy lots of stickers!
