Awesome course, great event, but I've got to start doing more outside, the sun/heat just kicked my butt.

Another great event! Now it's time to hit the pool.

On another note, is anyone missing a pair of nikes? I was last out of the north lot today and there was a deserted pair of dark grey nike shoes with orange trim, mens size nine, left on the curb on the east side of the lot. If they are yours, let me know and we can figure out how to get them back to you and your feet.

OK so If 2nd place in E2 only did 3 events and to be eligible for championship points you need to do 4 would that bump 3rd to 2nd and 4th to 3rd(HOPEFULY) Yellow_Colorz_PDT_12

The Sept. event is at SPC again.

Who wants to co-chair it with me?
And we need chairs for Nov. and Dec., too.

Some amazing facts about todays event!

GONE, by the end of day today:

12 cases of water
5 cases of soft drinks
20 bags of ice! Gotta be some kinda record!
What a fantastic day! Really enjoyed the course. It was great to see so many new folks out today. I hope you guys got the 'bug' and will be back. Pics and video's to follow.

Great time at the event today.

Enjoyed the course...although it seemed to be a one liner due to the gravel/marbles kicked up by previous cars-a concern over a crumbling asphault?

It was hot! Taking August off is a pretty good idea...

Tim, we have a great video of you sliding towards the wall of cones on the back stretch and maneuvering at the last second to avoid 'em! I'll post it in a bit. Always fun to watch (and hear) that Vette run.

Damn, I'm tired.

Since we're not doing an event in August... anybody up for crashing the SCCA event at Brooksville on the 8th? Yes, I'm a glutton for punishment. 8)

Push Harder - Drive as close to the limit of your tires as possible.

Just in case, y'all make sure you check out the thread on August's "membership" meeting and awards party.

The asphalt's not sealed. I think quite a bit of the sand is actually coming up from the pavement. There's probably alot of rubber out there as well, since they're flogging police cars around there all week.

Jamie: sand...a la Lakeland...nooo! Another possibility was that A class went later in the day than typical...allowing the proper line to be easily identified rather than the Corvette going where it 'felt' fast. :-)

Scott: Love to see it...we should post it as a sticky on exactly what not to do for a quick time. (j/k)

JR: Almost forgot, the cubans were delicious and seemingly perfect for a hot, sweaty day. Super quick serve up too-appeared things went quicker for lunch than occasions in the past.

WOW, just looked at the championship points. I missed first in two classes by 1 point. I should have gone into B one race sooner. I was trying to hunt Kenny down, and missed it by that much...

Here are two videos... not the best quality because I couldn't zoom in, but it's high def so make sure you bump up the resolution and it should look better even though it's distant ;-)
I have in car video up of my 1st-4th runs up there, one has a loooong intro and I apologize and my last and best run I won't put up till I figure out how to edit it because I forgot to turn the camera off and I was driving around with it running...
