The SPC dates are confirmed. The Brooksville dates are too. It's a go, folks.

MAR 12 and 13 - Saturday and Sunday - SPC - Ron H., Loren and a cast of tens
APR 10 - Sunday - Brooksville - Ron R. and Ed C.
MAY 14 - Saturday - SPC - Jim Reid and Loren
JUN 11 - Saturday - Brooksville - Brian and Steve
JUL 10 - Sunday - SPC - Jamie and Sam
AUG - OFF
SEP 10 - Saturday - SPC - Jamie
OCT 15 and 16 - Saturday and Sunday - Brooksville - Bill and Loren
NOV 13 - Sunday - SPC - Brian and Jamie
DEC 10 - Saturday - Brooksville - Jamie and Phil

Please feel free to sign up to chair at any time. The March dates will most likely include a novice school.

There's a weekend at SPC planned for March...if we actually get the dates, and someone steps up to run the school, that's the most probable time.

Lol. Read the last sentence in the first post. And Jamie is right. Chris Meier is certainly welcome to chair the school again he did such a great job last March. If he won't /can't then in order to have a school we'll need a capable (or coachable) chair. I'm sure we'll find someone...

Oh and March's dates are confirmed. Still waiting on Brooksville and usually don't know until Dec.

We need to get this thread fired up. Steve's job as Grand Poobah of FAST is a thankless job as it is, don't make it more difficult by making him BEG for event chairmen! Besides, ask anybody who's done it, it's kinda fun!

I talked to Loren last night and he made the questionable judgment call (must be the intoxication from the new ride) to have me co-chair with him for the March driver school.

I've played all of the roles but never led one before, so be gentle....

Nice, FAST schedule avoids all scheduled ChumpCar races that I plan to attend.. now if I can just get work to cooperate I can actually start autocrossing again!

LOL nah, it's usually outside of his control anyways. I could have made the Jan event but Verizon and QWest screwed that one for me, so I'll be working that weekend now

On the plus side, once all of these projects are done, the rest of the year should be quiet

I retired, srsly, after 32 years and 6 months I've left, apparently , in light of the current events, just in time. I know it has nothing to do with the Feb auto-x, but I just had to tell someone. Now I can drive Diane nuts full time.
