Mounting race tires North Pinellas
Looking for a place to have some R compounds mounted and balanced. I'm in Palm Harbor so prefer close but looking for race friendly places to support.

I've never used these people for race tires but i have bought multiple sets from them and had them mount tires i already had. They come to you and are reasonable. Tires2U at (727) 449-8473.

Re: Mounting race tires North Pinellas
I've had several sets of tires mounted at Tampa Bay Wholesale Tire in Oldsmar. About half the time, they don't even write it up and just tell me to tip the installer. The other half, they charge $15/wheel for mount and balance w/ new stem. They're good guys, a non-chain local shop.
However, I have heard of at least one instance of them not wanting to mount tires for somebody. I think somebody called and asked and they said no. I've never called them, I just show up, and they've never turned me away.

Push Harder - Drive as close to the limit of your tires as possible.
Suck Less - Drive something resembling a proper racing line.
