Glad everyone had a good time. Sorry I missed it.
Just took a look at the results... was Matt Brooks really in his station wagon with all-seasons and came in 17th overall?!? Well done Matt!

* Wife won't let me drive the Jetta Wagen after brining it home soaked from the Brooksville "rain" Classic.

I loved the course, It only took me 6 runs to figure out the turn around and the approach to the finish.

Two runs within 0.014I only wondered what final gear the vette has?

If the diff is still stock ratio, it's a 3:45.
6-speed trans ratios:
1st 2.68
2nd 1.80
3rd 1.29
4th 1.00
5th 0.75
6th 0.50

I have a 3.73 rear gear, I did the calculation once and with my elevated redline, second gear tops out at ~73 I just tapped the rev limiter in a couple spots on this course.

Seriously, though... I think I say this every time I watch a video of you, Scott... look at how you're yanking the car around. The mere fact that you're ABLE to yank the car like that and it RESPOND and not go spinning wildly out of control means that you could be driving the car way, way faster if you just smoothed out your line and your inputs. Yeah, I know, stuff is already happening too fast. Not saying *I* could do it. But, it looks like there's probably another 2 seconds in that car.

Championship Points have been updated. Lots of things are still up in the air, it's pretty interesting.

Scott & Les are battling for first in R1.

In M0, there are 18 points up for grabs, which could put any of the current top 4 in the lead if they can grab all 18 of them.

Joe & Tim are still duking it out in M1. Jeremy could make things interesting for them if he were to come back and dominate the remaining events.

In M2, because Drew has missed no events, he is in the peculiar position of actually being able to GAIN points by not competing. His current drop total is 13 points (3 lowest scores). If he were to opt not to compete in the last two events, his two lowest scores would be 0 points, and his third would be 3 points. So, he'd gain 10 points... putting his total at 55 points. Hammer could win the next two events and still only have 47 points! Drew's got this one locked in. But, the battle is still on for 2nd and 3rd.

Dave O'neil is in a similar situation in M3. He's got enough of a lead that he could probably sit out the last two events and just watch the battle for 2nd and 3rd unfold. (Hriskonich could potentially cause a tie if Dave sat out by winning both remaining events... but, Dave ain't gonna let that happen. All he has to do is run one of those events and get one point and he's got a championship!)

Mario could flounder and let Tony take S1, while Bob Tamandli appears to have 3rd nailed.

One of the most interesting is S2, where there are 3 or 4 drivers in hot contention for 2nd place. I put 1st place on the table for them a couple months ago. If my math is right, Jesse could possibly take that from me by 1 point by winning the next two events. I never thought I'd root for the BRZ guys...

Murdoch should have S3 in the bag. Horn should have 2nd. 3rd is still contested.

Tony Briody has a lock on the S4 class with 2nd and 3rd still being up in the air.

We've seen some solid competition in S5 (as well as just attendance, which is always good to see in S5), and it looks like Ron and Matt will be at it until the bitter end!

Now it all depends on how well I secure 3rd, I may just nudge Murdoch out and take 2nd at the next two events and, with all else remaining constant, upset Season Championship S3 overall winner by 1 point (if my Math/logic is correct)

Observing two competitors I run against fairly often. I'm thinking there might be a tie for "Most improved driver" between Nathan S3 and Ben S2. I fixed both my cars this last season to near perfection (on a budget), had tons of seat time and got alot faster compared to last season but still they are nipping at my heels by a .1 or .2 and everyone else's for that matter.

I'm really impressed with these two guys achievments!!

Not sure about your math/logic there, but you're 27 points out of first place, and while I'm just a lowly engineer and not good at math, you can't jump 27 points in two races if the maximum attainable points are 18.

And while we're on the subject, good luck piloting that land yacht around the tight confines of TBD. That place is made for ponies
