Well I firmly believe in "slow" cooking charcoal food. Grilling is like interrogating. It takes time to get the best out of the subject.

So you probably don't want me doing it. But if you are willing to wait?

Hey, I checked out the park over the weekend. There isn't actually electricity at this shelter, so cancel the fans.

Otherwise, we're in great shape! Plenty of seating. Plenty of grills. Close to restrooms. Close to the bay.

Guest list is up to 37. Don't forget to register if you know you're coming!

Working...

working on Saturday sucks. Working on Saturday pays for registration fees, tires, car repairs, and any other sundry items needed.

Working Saturday sucks a little less. Maybe Ben can model my t-shirt, he got skinny enough in the AT that it probably fits him! Have fun y'all.

Guess there won't be any tiny Hawaiian Drew Buns.

That's okay. Someone will bring even "bigger" Buns. Cool that Les is bringing "deviled eggs" so we won't have to bring them in our tiny car. We have to go to Orlando from Philippe (bringer of grape fruit to FL) Park. All hail Les bringer of deviled eggs to picnic. There is nothing I love more!!!!! I will let him sonic drag my Vette in parking lot.

Didn't mean to step on your toes Doug with the devilled eggs, I'm sure you could bring some too and they would get eaten. I just wanted to bring something that is easy and currently within my own dietary restrictions, I might eat most of the ones I bring by myself. ;-)

Les, you did us a total favor. I have no room in vert for icing down eggs with two overnite bags for Orlando, racing gear AND a whole bunch of frozen treats.
