Loaner helmets lead to, loaner tape numbers, lead to Loaner shoes, lead to loaner car/ Fastiva :cool: In case one's car is unsafe they can pay $40 to drive the Fastiva which will be kept in the new trailer and serviced by Ben. For another $20 we will drive them home.....if they bend over. Or they can drive us home if we bend over. When I worked on Put-In-Bay one year they had a local band called: "Ben Dover and the Screamers". :grin:

Speaking of better late than never... I keep forgetting to update the points. I think tonight is the night.

Philip...Once again great pictures!

Couple things;
1) Love the black and white pictures.
2) The off angle pictures are my second favorite though they make me a little 'queasy" if I stared at them too long.
3) the Purple Maxda gets the award for "The highest inside rear tire" at the event. It looked to be at least 8 inches off the ground.
4) Kudos to the orange Mustang for autocrossing a car with temp plates.
5) Nate...You need some springs in that car!

As for the shoe controversy, lets outlaw open toe shoes, but allow the person to go barefoot if he/she doesn't want sock tan lines. Of course, the club is not responsible for any injuries they may incur.
Political correctness has neutered this country.

Wearing socks twice a month is not going cause permanent damage to your wonderful tan.

Awesome event!

Thanks for the pics Philip! Yes the fireants bites were worth it. Could have been worst though, you could have been wearing open toe shoes...

Mike M, about needing springs... I know right! The springs and weld in subframe connectors have been sitting in the garage for about two months now, while I wrap up the season in S3.
Rule changes (fender flares) have also outlawed my car as stock for the next season.
Coming this fall to a club near you is the M2 Upset.

I loved the course, but couldn't be as fast as I would have liked. I should have shaved at least a second off in my afternoon runs, but couldn't beat my morning times. AARRGH!

I wish Rob Ledwel had been there. The competition for first in S5 was close, but Rob handed me the win by skipping this one. I think I'll play in M2 the rest of the year... Maybe.
