You guys are awesome! I'll probably go for whichever car is more convenient when I'm ready to drive. Steve won't be at this event, so I'm flying solo... might just hop a run whenever I can rather than all at once.

If you can, have Loren drive your car multiple times and have him ride with you when you drive multiple times. You'll get great input and get to see the more of what your car can do. Also, accept it now that he will put down a faster time than you :chuckle: .

:pointlaugh: Sorry, not sorry. :thumbwink:

I'm certainly not unbeatable, though. There are several drivers just within our little club that are better drivers than I am. And several more that might not be as consistent, but can outdrive me on some days.

But, yeah, I can usually teach you something.

Granted. I happen to have one which will suit you nicely.
Yay! Thanks Doug.

The Miata is still clutch-less. Gonna borrow some big ass jack stands, get it up as high as I can, and work on the clutch and the motor mounts when I can over the next couple of weekends. At least I'll have it ready for the start of next season. Time consuming projects do not move swiftly when you have no time.
Also, the Mustang still leaks. All manner of sorcery have failed to bring it's dead Optima battery back to life. Need a new battery to continue that fix.

Sounds like a challange for another day. Maybe I can remember how to drive a Miata?

Now that has to be tempting for him in the cooler/probably dry morning too. Don't know if it's legal but Drew could split 2+3 runs in both heats? The options are nearly endless for the FINALE!!
S2 has some tough customers this time once again!! Getting closer to concrete Lincoln, NE time.

Not really sure how I signed up for the morning. Both sessions seem pretty equal. I can likely run whenever.

Just got the message of showing up by 1pm. Hmmmm. Can we have an extra fast driver's meeting (24FN repeats) and only time for one course walk to avoid the 3pm thunderstorm? Fingers and toes all crossed this Sunday. At least I know I've got decent rain tires from my last two events @ airport. As if you morning people didn't have enough edge - now you get an "extra dry" run :binky:

Time for me to move to FN. That will work. :thumbwink: All ready have a T shirt in 6 events elsewhere guaranteed in S1.

The system seems to be closed. Please move me to FN in the PM ( think I sent you a message?). It will be interesting to see where I end up against people with 5 practice runs out of 25 people.

Congrats to Doug and Eva. Oh and that Jason guy who has improved immensely this season #1. Awesome driving all of you. It's always been about having "FUN" for this old man. :salute:

Thanks,

Doug

I don't trust a forecast that much. Yesterday it said mostly cloudy w/ 20% chance of rain for Sunday. Wait a few hours, they'll change it again.

I hope everyone remembers that this event is SUNDAY. It's all over the event info, and in the email that I sent to ALL entrants earlier this week. But, I bet somebody shows up Saturday morning. :dunno:

oil changed and sway bar adjusted. almost bald tires so if it rains it'll be a drift event.

hopefully the Major will accept a challenge, I'll be there for the morning and afternoon.
